Keith Jarrett - Live at Lucerne

The fact that this was completely improvised blows my fucking mind. Come to think of it, everything Keith Jarret does is outstanding.

Frank-Zappa-Roxy--Elsewhere-500411.jpg

Frank Zappa - Roxy and Elsewhere.

This one's debatable as a live album because Zappa made significant overdubs. Then again, most of his album performances were built up from live recordings, which was part of what made him so unique.

Frank Zappa - Playground Psychotics

Consists of field recordings of the 1972 Mothers while on tour. Definitely a must have, if not solely for 'Billy the Mountain'.

Pink Floyd - Live at Pompeii

Jim Hendrix - Woodstock, Monterey, Isle of Wight, Winterland, BBC Sessions
