Introducing "A Very WATMM Christmas, 2012".

Thanks to all who contributed tracks, and a special thanks to ga'arg, who did the amazing album art, and Zephyr Nova who mastered the tracks.

You can download for free by typing "0" in the donation field. As with the previous Christmas album, this is supposed to be a free album. The option to donate exists just in case we exceed the 200 allowed free downloads per month.

Enjoy!

oh my god, the Rudolf track !

Thanks mate. I did that one.

This was the first time I contributed a track to my own compilation.

I'm amused by the fact that all three compilations I've organized start with a Goiter Sanchez choral track. The guy makes good album openers.

Yeah, it is funny how that keeps happening. I think it's my drawn-out intros; a habit I'll break at some point. :p

Just listened... Loads of fun, cheers to all involved! Highlights for me on initial listen were Jubal's Little Drummer Person (Who is Jubal? Great work), Cthulhu Detonator's violent assault on Silhent Nhight (my sides still hurt from that one) and the stirring album closer by Jen Hatedream (I think that's Limpyloo). Great job everyone!

Great work all, once again! The Carol of the Bells vocal arrangement is brilliant, and very well delivered. The made-up language had me cracking the whole time I was mastering it. Goiter's tracks just make sense as openers because they always ease the listener into the theme of the album.

Rudolf's another stand-out for me, love the speak 'n' spell, the vocoder choristers, great fun all around.

Jubal's track is really pro, really easy mastering job on that one as the mix was pristine. Great drum work.

To me, Favorite things is the closest musical representation of the album art. The dissonance and atmosphere gives it almost a black metal kind of vibe, at least to my fucked up way of listening.

The album art, as expected, is phenomenal. Like, probably the best album art on any compilation album in the history of the world.

And nice final choices on the track-listing, Root5. It flows quite well indeed.

and holy shit, Zephyr's follow up ! very nice.

Cheers!

Haha, I thought you'd appreciate that one!

And I too would like to know who Jubal is.

I would definitely say yes to that offer if it ever came up. For this track at least.

Up on Discogs now; Add it to your collections! http://www.discogs.com/Various-A-Very-WATMM-Christmas-2012/release/4112486

I don't quite get what's going on in the art... I feel it's up to the viewer to interpret most likely. Is Santa drawing gifts from the WATMM rocket in the background? Is he delivering presents in Somalia?
