The next day

Her acting skills are comically bad for a career politician. Translation: “yeah we’re gonna keep doing what we’ve been doing lol”

she's always been a bit awkward to say the least. i think her VP pick will be a help if they win the election. he's so normal and reasonable midwest type dude that if they work together his influence will shine through.. hopefully he's in the room for various policy discussions since he's got some pretty good priorities and takes on modernity in america and what should be happening.

but yeah.. she's not awkward like that UK prime minister who walked like a robot but she's got that laugh response to things that's weird sometimes.

i just want it to be over. the novocaine is starting to wear off and the dentist just picked up the drill again.

That reaction to activists for palestinian sucked. I guess today's bombing of school doesn't figure into the strategy either.

USA just approved billions more in arms to israel as well. 😞

Kamala Harris will not do shit except Just sitting in the big boys laps and be a full pro Israel zionist giving green light to the genocide of the Palestinian people.

It is very ugly but has always been US business including fucking up the whole middle eastern.

too lazy to make but

that bell curve meme where the simpleton on the left is 'saying 'the middle east has a lot of complex problems'
then the bell curve guy in the middle looking smug and smart going 'the middle east has a lot of problems and it's all the West/America's fault'
finally the expert on the right going 'the middle east has a lot of complex problems'

and what do you think trump will do? make things better for the Palestinians? actually you know what, nobody knows what trump would do because he's mentally ill and gives zero shits about anything but himself.

the way I see it, this is about choosing the lesser of the 2 evils. Kamala may not be able to singlehandedly put an end to the atrocities going on in the middle east, but at least she has a working brain. our options this November are either a legitimately insane cheeto colored scam artist, who has openly said he will do the dumbest of the dumb shit if re-elected, or Kamala. this is not a difficult choice here.

this is not the time to go raging against the machine at the fucked up American political system. this is about keeping trump out of office.

You are right but I just want to point out that this always gets said at every USA election. Like this time round its particularly true but this argument always comes up.

re: democracy:

The rich and powerful have always been in control of the world, if you think back to ancient times of kings and emperors. Modern things we are used to, like democracy and the rule of law (the idea that laws apply to everyone not just peasants) were hard won and the kings and emporors only gave into them very grudgeingly or after many battles. And democracy and rule of law are constantly under attack from the rich and powerful - they can game the system in many ways, buy people off, influence legislation, gerrymander, control the press etc. If they find themselves caught out on the wrong end of the law, they can hire the best lawyers, lean on polticians or judges to save their arses etc. And so my point is when you see how messed up things are, its not like the rich and powerful have only just started fucking with things, they've been there the whole time and the progress we have made only happened because they got occasionally outmaneuvered. And as such democracy is a blunt instrument, its not likely to give you what you want, and most people are too confused by the barrage of media to even know what they might want, but it is important as an ejector seat or emergency brake to stop things from getting really shit.

Politically, the 20th century can be broken down into 3 significant stages.

The growth of Democracy, the growth of corporate power, and the efforts of corporate power to curb democracy.

We are in the 1st stage of post democracy now which is effectively an oligarchy.

We will likely transition to some form of corporate totalitarianism soon enough.

I wonder if Trump doesn't have a smart team that knows how to run a successful campaign?

He is so bleach now and just acting like one upset kid in the kinder garden having his sand castle ruined.
"Oh Kamala is dumb" or "Oh Kamala is cheating" etc..

The classic point finger and blame others all the time. He almost got killed and was humble for a week..
I thought he was going to stick with that and focus on USA politics but NO we are going to act like a crying baby. 💩
