Morally no, but they can do what ever they want bc they are the strong and no one can touch them! Everybody needs to lick their balls!

What does "abolish" mean in real terms?

to be nice and gentle about it, quick fix is to require some hefty percentage of rent payments to contribute towards equity on the part of renters in individually rented buildings, and state-collectivize large apartment complexes.  more importantly, build mass housing to meet any needs and eliminate the artificial demand for dwellings

yes, the brutalist commie blocks of ages past are the -only- way to build mass housing.  architecture and urban design haven't advanced at all, for decades! ya got me

No, you're right. Public housing standards have vastly improved in modern years. The state always cares deeply about its people and quality of abodes.

random picture of a burning building with no context, not a great argument.  public housing is often shit because it doesn't get funding because of financially regressive political policies.  this has nothing to do with public housing as a general concept but rather specific instances of public housing existing under socially regressive political establishments

The building is not random. Google Grenfell tower

I have total faith that your modern Socialist utopia will offer nothing but luxury in accommodation, in contrast to literally all social housing that has come before it.

london, noted socialist region

no idea what youre talking about "socialist utopia".  dont think ive ever used that term utopia in a positive light, instead it's you making things up like usual.  if youre going to invent arguments with me over random posts, at least make good arguments.  take it to the marxism thread anyway it has nothing to do with palestine

bruv the soviet union dissolved 30 years ago if you think putin is socialist u actually need to read a book instead of throwing around the same buzzwords that all middle aged men who don't understand socialism do

This also shows that really religious ppl fight less against other religions and this is totally not about religion but about power and the land. And also, many secular jews around the world (in Israel too) protest against Israel Zionist crimes for decades; but, yes, they’re are an oppressed minority!

Many Orthodox Jews detest the state of Israel. They see the Zionist project as getting ahead of the work of the Lord (on the other hand, moving to Jerusalem is fine  ).

So it's not really surprising.

Not only that, but this particular outbreak of violence is a shameless bout of wagging the dog, with Netanyahu stirring up the flames to avoid losing political power as that would mean he'd have to go to jail. Really disgusting.

I agree with most of this except I would have municipal level governments manage the apartment complexes as opposed to state-level bureaucracy.

there was a big protest here today

the guy driving the car i was in tried to honk his horn in time to arabic music on the radio. eventually he changed it to depeche mode and started honking to enjoy the silence

ours was pretty cool, around 750 of us gathered in the square and some guy climbed up a 7 story building using scaffolding (which was wet because it was raining) and planted a palestinian flag at the top of the building. we then marched through the hipster quarter of town whilst they drank their £5 coffees and then around the city, stopping at shops which BDS called boycotts on.

@milkfaceafa i could tell the one here (montreal) must have been going on all over town all weekend long. I heard people honking their horns & chanting from my apartment yesterday afternoon. probably one of the bigger turn outs i've seen since back at the height of the sudent protest waves seven or eight years ago
