No one is exonerating Floyd for his crimes (mostly petty drug crimes, yay war on drugs). And one should certainly take responsibility for one’s own actions (and Chauvin did).

But by trying to whitewash our history

Who is trying to whitewash history here?

I’ll point you in the right direction, “Philosophical beliefs”. Now if this whole BLM stuff is as you’ve indicated a voice in defiance of police brutality it wouldn’t be shifted towards one race. Systematic racism like my Polish ancestors experienced you say? Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King and Malcom X had quite a thing or two to say about ones own-self taking ownership of responsibility or a group with similar backgrounds for themselves.

What’s going on in the US is pernicious. I’m not sure what will change it or where were headed. But by trying to whitewash our history and taking our societal grievances into a court of law the blame rest on each of us, individually, who condone it in bad faith. Pro captu lectoris habent sua fata libelli

the subject here is the treatment of black Americans by police and the justice system. it's very simple and practical in its thrust ("stop unjustified targeted killing of black people"), not just some vague philosophical bullshit that you can overextend into some other sidetopic/guy you have a bugbear about. funny, you talking about whitewashing. you can't talk about racial justice for POCs on the internet without anonymous clowns coming out of the woodwork and being like "but what about muh xyz" and "what about racial justice for all?". yes, racial justice for all, but some people have it worse than others and they have a right to make noise about that and seek redress, without being told by white people exactly how and when they should do that. you have a general problem with police brutality and state repression of the have-nots, regardless of their race? cool, so do most of us. you should start a topic about that general problem, rather than using it to water down discussion around this specific issue.

Is it true that the black guy who started BLM took all the charity money and moved in to a rich white ass community?

His life really matter a lot.
