  1. Thank you, I've got Abstract Soul and Modern Architect, both excellent release. There's a lot to start making my way through.
  2. It was the first FP-Oner album that caught my attention - The Otherness Dub - I then started picking up a few bits and pieces. Just subscribed to BC, any recommends?
  3. Burnley v Everton certainly was entertaining. Everton really are on the knife's edge.
  4. He's fantastic, especially love these two tracks. Just waiting for Oasis to arrive.
  5. I think the Burnley v Everton game will be worth a watch tonight tomorrow, just for the sheer desperation from both teams.
  6. New Terrence Dixon album out on 30D Records. edit: This is even more stripped down than Galactic Halo on Axis, with one side focused on soundscapes/textures. Really good album.
  7. Please don't check out the Autechre slash fiction subreddit...
  8. Condolences to her loved ones. R.I.P.
  9. I caved, and also picked up a ticket for 22:00 show at the Barbican. Anyone else opting for a double impact on Friday? Double the van damme, double the van damage.
  10. 2nd album from Patricia Wolf. I'm looking forward to this. If you like your ambient and field recording work, do check out the first album on Past Inside the Present. Balmat is Shaping up to be a great label, the Hoavi release was excellent. Would have liked to have snagged a copy of Languid Gongue.
  11. Yeah, I'm very impressed. I did my first listen Saturday night, nice long walk, felt like I was brushing up against the veil...
  12. more UK dates added, tickets available from the 25th at 10:00am. https://www.instagram.com/p/CbW8yh3LULF/ https://www.metropolismusic.com/artists/nine-inch-nails/?utm_source=&utm_medium=artist_social&utm_campaign=nine_inch_nails_2022
  13. My records arrived today, opening the parcel left me a little melancholic... Broadcast weekend starts this evening.
  14. I really can't stand Maguire, he's not worth 80mil, and certainly not the calibre of what you'd expect of a CB at United. Typical overvaluation of an English player. As for Jones... sure, after an initial promising entry to the squad for Ferguson's last hurrah, he did look like a good fit. However, he's form dipped, and okay being hit by what, 18/23 months of injury?, doesn't help, but I don't think he's good enough. I think his stats might be marginally better than Maguire's. And I love throwing a good, and what I see as I well deserved, "He's a mook!" in ?
  15. Maguire is useless, terrible signing. He'll go down as one of UTD's dumbest purchases, and they've had quite a few... They have plenty of donkeys on the bench getting a handsome wage, Phil Jones is another mook.
  16. Just says Slow Ribbon in Ukrainian when I attempt to translate, or slow tape from Ukrainian to English via Google. повільний стрічка https://www.wordsense.eu/повільний/ https://www.wordsense.eu/стрічка/
  17. Andy Stott jams on tape from Boomkat https://boomkat.com/products/the-slow-ribbon
  18. Yeah, Barbican member. Sorry, should have said that.
  19. Seated Autechre at the Barbican will be interesting... current state of bookings below.
  20. Ouch, he sounded like a right **** Getting some Pacific Heights vibes.
  21. It's good to Express Yourself, but if you just Open Your Heart, you might Get Into The Groove with Madonna. Sure, she may have stepped over the Borderline many times with her antics, however, there's no denying she was a Lucy Star for many people. I know not Everybody likes her, I guess it's just Human Nature. However, I for one do Cherish the Madonna from the 80s. Don't Cry For Me Argentina.
