Hi

 

I have a very complete collection of early rephlex, skam, etc. etc. I'd like to hold on to some but I realize "buyers" may only be interested in the ultra rare items.

 

I've never used Ebay, because I doubt people would bid on my items, but I could be completely wrong in that assumption.

 

Do any of you have any suggestions, or any want lists? I am probably older than most of you so I was able to get these records the first time around in their original form, everything is on vinyl however. I have almost all of the first 50-60 releases on Rephlex except for Q-Caustic.

 

I even have some hand written messages from the staff at the old Cornwall location when they did mail-outs. Maybe some of you know "Clear records" they had gescom and plaid and muziq releases before they folded. Well the lady who started Clear used to work at Rephlex her name was Claire, she sent me a letter saying she "owed" me a kinesthesia 12" but I never received it.

 

Anyway I'm glad I found this forum I think there maybe user out there who want the records I have more than I need to keep them, let me know if you have something your missing from your collection.

Okay Sure i'll list some the cat numbers later today and post a picture if you want.

 

Some of the rare ones include:

 

Universal Indicators - red (martin), green (in the plastic bag), blue, yellow

 

Bucket of tongues/Synectics - Purple Vinyl

 

Joyrex - all of them + picture disc and promo

 

Caustic window the first version in the brown paper bag. and all the subsequent versions.

 

Hangable auto bulb - green/brown

 

Cylob theme 7"inch

 

Etc Etc.

 

 

As well as all the minor releases, basically anyone who is trying to complete a rephlex or skam collection I probably have the record you are looking for.

 

I'm not gonna to charge mega bucks or anything like that but if there is no interest on here I'll try Ebay I guess.

How much for the Ono/Synectics one? I'm not into using Paypal though. Are you in the U.S.? If so I would work with you on the purchase of the Ono/Synectis release with a money order, depending of course on how much you are asking for it, price-wise.

Regarding the synectics/ono promo, no unfortunately I don't live in the US, I am in Canada. Re the price, well that is why i posted here was to get an indication as to what these are worth to a collector??

Yes I think so, I'll have to look through my shelves tonight (give me a couple days though because some of these are in boxes). I know for sure I have the seven inch and one or two twelve inches. I'll send you a picture so you can see the condition. I wonder if I can attach the picture here?

 

Also I forgot to mention I have the first 5-6 records on Clear (Plaid/Gescom/Tuskan Raiders/Jake Slazenger 2LP/and the very first one I think it was by reload (Jedi something or other) - (these are all in really good condition). I'd kind of like to sell these as a set though if anyone is interested, they might be more $ because they will never be reprinted.

I've had a number of requests to post some pictures of specific items here are the requests so far.

 

I hope it is okay to post a few images here.

 

To those of you who messaged me please let me know if you guys are still interested otherwise I'll probably just send this over to ebay or something. Any other requests please send them to me if there is one record you're looking for and can't find I might have it if it is a good release.

Attached are a few examples of the records and the condition of the sleeves etc. I have about 100 other pics like this of `sets` that I`d like to sell together, for (example cat 00X - cat 010) . I'll only post requests because it takes a while to upload etc.

 

As I said before if there are gaps in your Rephlex or Skam-Mask or Warp, Schematic, etc collections let me know.

I thought you said you didn't want it because you bought some cds or something. Another member asked about so I kind of promised it to him.

Hi everybody,

 

I just want to give an update.

 

 

1. The bochum welt stuff is gone, all of them sold. (One visitor to this site offered way more than the others who expressed interest so I just decided to let him have them all)

 

 

First thanks to all who sent me messages about these I have to say however I was a little dissapointed about the response overall, it's been kind of difficult to sell these this way because you guys can't see what others are offering. So in that sense this experiment was kind of a failure, having said that this was also a valuable lesson, i initially came here to sell these or at the least see if there is a market - I feel I've accomplished that much.

 

Since most offers were so low I think maybe I'll hang on to these awhile longer, you guys can correct me if i'm wrong but offering the same price I paid for these 15 years ago is a little low?? isn't it? Anyway this has been an interesting experiment thanks agian to everyone who pm'd me and checked out this thread.

 

BTW one user asked about BOLA1 and I lost your email I still have it you still want it.

i offered the prices that they're going for on teh eBay (well, for the Bochum stuff anyway), wasn't sure how much to offer for Joyrex....I thought £2.50 was reasonable though.... :rolleyes:
