Hmmm, I'm digging a lot of the stuff towards the end of the album. He's got a better knack for musical sounding melodies than a lot of experimental artists who I've heard attempt similar things (ie he sounds more like a composer singing his melodies through a computer rather than a comp nerd trying to be a composer). I may pick this one up.

Sucks. Why do people like this?

Why are you so negative? I admit that the tracks were too simple and lacked of some innovation, but still, I really like. :)

I traveled across oceans and visitted a record store that actually carried this album, but the couple copies they had were sold long before I arrived. Luckily I still got to see Ween live, and that was pretty cool. But stumbling across this CD would have made my trip that much awesomer.

Very chirpy, I'm still adjusting to it but it's definitely growing on me! I find it quite amusing that the rephlex web address is printed on the CD, and windows media player has labelled the tracks as the names of the distributors ie.

1. SKD SRD

2. Inertia

3. Forced Exposure

4. La Baleine

5. Neutron

6. Rough Trade

7. Lowlands

8. Goodfellas

I didn't know I was going to be going until the day of the concert when my friend phoned me up, knowing someone in Van with a spare ticket. Another girl also from the island met up with us thinking she was getting a spare ticket as well, but there was only the one. I felt inadvertantly responsible, so I bought another ticket off a scalper for $15 less than the actual price (his story was that his "old lady" ditched out on him last minute, but it turns out he was just a bum who was offered a free ticket by someone else, then sold it to me). It worked out for me in the end because I wound up in the 12th row rather than the 24th. I guess company would have been nice, but it was the music I was there for first and foremost, so i didn't mind.

Regarding this Bogdan album --I listened back a couple days ago and thought it was horrible. I think it might be one of those albums I have to be in a very specific mindset to appreciate. Something about it impressed me the first time through, but maybe it was just the mood I was in at the time.
