Watched the last couple minutes of the latest episode. Rick & Negan were arguing on walkie talkies.

It was absolute shit.

I think they did that in the comic tho.

Not so much if it's in the comic, It's worth checking out for absolute worst acting. It was bad.

I've said it before but zombies are done for a good while. the pattern of zombie fic has usually been that there's a surge of inspired and creative works and then a long period of garbage riding that wave which sends the whole genre back into the depths until someone with vision brings it back for a new generation. this current wave started with 28 Days Later way back in 2002 and (imo) ended at The Last of Us (yes yes they're not really zombies) or thereabouts.

it's time to stop

So hoping the asshats at AMC recast his character with a different actor. That would be so WD.

edit: also, nice of losing any tension whatsoever with the next season with this announcement. He's gonna die by the 6th episode. cool.

God, these WD showrunners...

So wait,

Is Z-nation an exact rip off of TWD? Has anybody here ever watched it?

I saw a short trailer thing as an advert on instagram and it basically made out that "walkers" (same terminology as TWD) can now talk.

Also, TWD will also be doing that with the whisperers making an appearance this series.

28 days later is so good.

but this is 100% right. it's been especially overdone in games this decade. slap a z in the title, steal some decaying flesh textures, ..., profit
