Forgotten IDM producers

As we all know, IDM isn't what it used to be. Sometime after the turn of the century the popularity of the genre died in the arse. But for a few years there it was really blossoming in terms of quality and quantity of music being released. In this rush, it was easy to miss some great releases.

Everyone (well, everyone here!) knows about the big names. Hell, most here probably even know about highly celebrated but lesser known artists like Bola, Arovane, Gridlock, Brothomstates etc.

But I'm sure there's plenty of great music in this vein that was missed. Let's share some lesser known tracks/artists that deserve more recognition:

E.O.G from the Netherlands released a handful of EPs and compilation tracks. Overall the quality is very high

Low Key Operations is a guy I probably only know about because I'm Australian and he's a local. But he released an absolutely killer album of dark crunchy bassy electronica in the late 90's. I still listen to it to this day.

Yasume only released a single quite beautiful EP. Think delicate glitchy melodic IDM. Twin Peaks references certainly don't hurt!

Everybody share some of their favourites. I'm sure there's plenty of great stuff over the years that I've missed.

Pub is still very active, but here's a reminder anyway of one his earlier epic tracks..

That sound design is kinda similar to the sound design in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, especially on the Moon and other places where they play ambient kind of music. [in the first two minutes]

Oh man! There is one lost producer I cant remember:

name: Mr.xxiixx (Or something liek that??)

Released: something "vol.1" and "vol.2" maybe a year after that.

I really loved all of this.

I was at my parents house and recently found a CD of Beak (Fred McGriff from watmm old days) and Kid Spatula!

it made me think of all the 2001-2004 electronic tracks I forgot about

Datach'i

Freeform

Funkstörung

Push Button Objects

Funk and PBO did collabs with bigger hip hop names though. I listened to Funkstörung a lot during high school. They're without a doubt my favorite German artists. They've even done collabs with Björk and Wu Tang Clan in 1999.
