I checked and they aren't even accepting new subscriptions, so yeah it'll be $100+ on discogs in a few.  I'd like to see the first album remastered and reissued in some pimp fly set.

I'm sure some people closer to my age do too, but most of them keep to their parents basement at least.   Reckon you can probably get a used cd copy of this of $.01 + shipping on amazing

Looking through the archives of what went out via that record club doesn't make it look very appealing. A lot of hand picked bollocks for folk who want an eclectic collection for the sake of telling you about how varied their tastes are.... I kind of like the idea of a mystery record being delivered every month but if the fucking gorillaz lp turned up I'd be less than amused.

Fun fact i learned recently: there are people out there who are very hard up about the "original original" vs the "bootleg original". Only significant because look at those prices

 

I went back home and checked and thank golly i got the original original from my local hot topic at the time. Now i know there's at least 300 bucks in weed money on my record shelf for when the going gets extra rough

I know a few vinyl nerds / audiophiles who have broad and sincere tastes but unfortunately I see on instagram with the money to buy nice stereos and vinyl buy shit like this
