Looks like it would be excellent for chopping all kinds of fruits, veggies, tubers, etc. Santoku knives are generally my mainstay for cooking prep. I just said "okay" and left. *they do happen to make the best serrated knives I've ever used. Really excellent knives. I highly recommend them.
