this is gonna be cool cause from now on when we re gonna mention some (unknown) Plaid track, we re gonna use names for them, not codes! and it would make communication a lot easier!

but the funny thing is about unknown #8,http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNgdo9o6rXo

Andy wrote in the mail that they have no idea what track it is. but im pretty sure i had extracted and uploaded it from one of their shows. and it s a great one, to me, really ;)

rio death ray: 3/5 (always special for me, cause it was the first unknown i had uploaded, its the pioneer! :))

smites: 6/5 (maybe my favourite from these unreleaseds. reminds me a bit of their works as tBD)

beat 14: 2/5 (i think they were trying sth, but i just cant get what it was :P )

tappo: 4,5/5

stills(break version): 3,5/5 (thats called rock n' roll!:) )

ring key: 4,5/5 (tender "un"hooks)

MFX: 6/5 (magdog, i agree with you, this track is so tight, i ve spent nights listenning to this one on repeat. this is like a track for a nokia software developer, he wants to compete with android, but cant come up with sth better, so he has this nightmare where his nokia keeps bleeping and so on... but too bad this has only 600 views (so far))

zurika: 5,5/5 (this will even make Vladimir Putin, give up his silly judo and start to dance)

carnival: 2/5 until 3:00 then 3/5 after that (i dont so much like their club tracks)

away: 5/5, just so perfect, away is one hell of great moody 10101011110000s !!!

FME: 3,5/5 (funky! :) im pretty sure this one would be so great to listen to "live"

batt: !!!!! 6/5! oh my, i ve always been fascinated by this one! and am not surprised it had a "dark" name .and im definitely gonna upload a longer version of this. cause the one here is not complete and the real hell goes on, really after where they ve cut it.

nulls: 3/5 many people will just love this!

and "unknown 8": 8,8/5! it s like prodigy's "music reach 1,2,3,4" but its destructive power is not so immediate, it is more sophisticated and better planned!

I like MFX, too. and would really like to hear the one that starts at the end of MFX, aswell... that sounds cool.

does anyone have that?

also, plaided, what do all those numbers 3/5 6/5 2/5, etc mean??

It's as dirty and rude as it gets.. what a TUNE!!!

Mmm, like the name, but i'd give it a simple Plaid name like 'mosh' :)

Thanks for the shout out mate! :>

Well done sir! I knew a few were either demo takes or variants, but glad to see the tracks named proper. Always loved Zurika since first listening to it. Stills(Break Version) is absolutely lovely from 3:30 on. I actually enjoy Carnival, some versions are better than others, and I think it's missing those key Plaid melodies that would put the track over the top. Nothing wrong with Plaid's club tracks, Zurika and Host are wonderful recent examples.

hey plaided, nice one for doing that! but after listening to the whole rip i think i've heard it before somewhere, and on youtube!

wasn't sure if it was actually a Plaid track at first, but those big reverbs on the main synth line towards the end is classic Plaid stylee.

cool tune either way, whether it's Plaid or not. reckon it probably is, though. - and those dirty electro sounds are very nice! Cheers!

twas unknown 8 i thinks... and i'm 100% sure it's a Plaid track!

makes me chuckle, but it sounds to me like it only took them 5 minutes to make, however they managed to put together one of the greatest and rawest electro beats any Detroit'an would be proud of! :)

Fuck me, what a ballbreaker of a thread. Thanks for your hard work sir.

+1000, awesome version of one my Plaid faves. Also makes me think Plaid are amongst my favourite live artists, even though it's just two blokes on Mac Books and a big projector.

nice topic, these unreleased tracks sound great. there's material for an album or two.

it's a pity they haven't been released yet, some of them sound better than the stuff that has been released, imho.

I would agree with the above poster. Much of their unreleased stuff is awesome. A box-set of these unreleased tracks would be great, but I realise this is never likely to happen. And this makes me sad
