Apparently a solo album from Kouhei is on the way, due May 2nd. I was kind of disappointed with the last one, but I think that taking Sensational out of the picture might substantially improve things. "NHKyx (Kouhei Matsunaga) Solo set new album.... 2nd May 2011. Best wishes to all in Japan during these difficult times." Also: "New NHKyx > Mr 76ix > Team Doyobi > VHS Head > & a surprise or two are all in motion for the near future....."

Bike (Milieu) - Mono/Rot
by Guest No Pomo- 2 replies

Mono/Rot is a double EP (each side of the tape is an entire EP), by Brian Grainger (Aka. Milieu, Coppice Hallifax, and more) as Bike. The Rot EP is a series of 6 tracks presenting a more rhythmic style for Brian. In general they feel like Aphex/Tuss doing a take on minimal dub techno, but with a certain Grainger uniqueness. On the other side, (no a or b here) Mono EP is a single long track that takes the style of the individual tracks on Rot EP, and works it into one long master track. I have to say this work is top notch, very unique and a great ammount of detail to listen to. Pro-dubbed cassette tapes. Limited to 50 copies. http://www.cicadashell.com/MP3/bikepreview…

I can't find any English links at the moment, this could be the blog of the cover designer though. Something to point your eyes at.

is there anything that Tiesto touches that doesn't turn into shit
Last reply by kaini, -
http://odan.clockwaverecords.com/ Yes! Stoked about this! It includes a high quality version of Calaveras which I had ripped off myspace in shitty quality years ago. Such a slamming acid tune. Grateful to have more quality Odan in my collection. What do you guys think?

Inner Tube (Spencer Clark [as Charles Berlitz] and Mark McGuire) Pacific City Sound Visions, 2012 The second vinyl release on Pacific City Sound Visions in the past few months is Spencer Clark's collaboration with Emeralds' Mark McGuire, under the alias Inner Tube. They are channeling some serious surf jam vibes here (almost echoing Ferraro's Edward Flex work and Alternative Soundtrack to: Scream in Blue Surf, interestingly enough). Brain-melting riptide channeling here. I'm really digging it. sample!

http://www.fauxpasmusik.de/ "Sven Weisemann will release a new album under the name Desolate this March called Celestial Light Beings. Weisemann is a German DJ and producer with a knack for all things deep and dubby. As Desolate—a project he briefly tried to keep anonymous—he maintains this specialty, but with a twist: here he trades the 4/4 pulse for something more ambient and garage-inspired, and adds a bit of classical instrumentation. The result is a moody and semi-ambient sound that led Todd L. Burns to describe the last album, The Invisible Insurrection, as being "among the best albums Burial never made." Like that release, Celestial Light Beings will come out …
