i've been following allie's blog for a long time now, and every entry is funnier than the one before... she just moved house, with two dogs - one with no self-esteem, and one with no brain. this is amazing: http://hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com/2010/11/dogs-dont-understand-basic-concepts.html

she just called to tell me she's dropped my car keys down a drain with the car left unlocked. i'm at work, an hour and a half away. i tried to explain how to lock it without the keys but she can't seem to do it and i can't ask her to lock from inside and crawl through and out of the boot. i knew this would happen, it was only a matter of time... took her 3 weeks to do the inevitable. thank fuck she can't even drive, my car wouldn't last 5 minutes. i have the other set with me so hopefully noone steals my car or stuff before i get back tonight.

not really, i quit and feel pretty 100% about it. but i can't seem to come to terms with this website. http://www.smokingfeelsgood.com/ from the forum: i just don't know here. there's posts by parents detailing how they encouraged their kids to smoke, and people protesting the view that smoking is cancerous. a thread titled "do smokers go to heaven?".

With two cameras, you'll be able to view video in real time from any angle in the room. Sports fans, prepare to watch your favorite soccer player kick that ball live from 1 inch above the turf right next to his foot. And that will just be the beginning... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7QrnwoO1-8A

A raster manipulation unit or ‘wobbulator’ is a prepared television which permits a wide variety of treatments to be performed on video images; this is accomplished by the addition of extra yokes to a conventional black and white receiver and by the application of signals derived from audio or function generators on the yokes. http://blairneal.com/blog/the-wobbulator/ pretty sick.

Ok, so basically Im drunk. And Ive a story to tell(who doesnt?). Basically, I was walking home from a club to night as I do most nights. I was on my own as I usually am. But tonight some Arabic guy came up and started talking to me. He seem friendly enough so I started chatting to him. We were shiting on about some unimportant shit, when he said he was talking a left when I was going straight. Literally 5 seconds after he had said that I check my pocket for my phone to see if I had a call/message. But I realised I didnt have a phone, and I didnt have a wallet. I had been pick-pocketed. So Id realised Id been pick pocketed and I chased after the lad, down and alley wa…

Via Kotaku More Exciting Than An Invisibility Cloak A Space-Time Cloak Is Much More Exciting Than An Invisibility Cloak Do you find the idea of an honest-to-goodness cloak of invisibility intriguing? How about a cloak that obscures events in space-time? Science is making it happen. the United Kingdom is obsessed with not being seen, and I blame Monty Python. Earlier this month I posted about a team of researchers in Scotland that were using a special class of materials known as metamaterials to create a cloak that bent the visible spectrum of light, rendering objects or people covered in it invisible. That apparently wasn't good enough for Professor Ma…

The plan is to stop in Asheville, NC and Birmingham, AL. From there, we swing up through Memphis, TN and Little Rock, AR to get to Interstate 40 and take that all the rest of the way west through Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and into California. If I had more time and money, I'd be zigzagging all over the country. Any ideas of good shit to see along the way? Anyone know if this is doable in one week? Here is the route... http://mapq.st/h/6-eh4UNo9d
