I was recently listening to FORCE MASS MOTION - Phase Lock on Rabbit City Records (the label the put out CUT 002, Analog Bubblebath 2) and the underlying acid lines from Universal Indicator are very apparent. Ok. It's approximately written between, ???(sounds post drukqs but who knows - 2006). Kind of an Analord feel to it. There's this one part during the song where there's this real nice thick warm synth chord or chords played, then the pitch bends around as if someone is playing with a pitch wheel, and I think I remember the beats dropping out during this part, but I'm not sure. It's not on any of the major releases. That's all I remember. I tried asking a few months ago in some topic and no one knew what the frick I was talking about. Please people, I've been looking for this forever

One thing I've always been wondering about is, that Aphex Twin's music sounds so intuitive. It never (barely ever) sounds like somebody sat down and thought like: Let's add another bassline, should be like this and that. It sounds "felt". Do you know, if there ever has been a musical analysis of his music by somebody who knows more about minor, major, tonic and secondary dominant than me, that would explain how it works harmonically? (if there is anything special to be found out at all, and not just some fanboy's fancy) I know about his lucid dreams and that, but that's the way he created some of his melodies, not the way they actually work. I was watching one of those YouTube clips from the Manchester gig AFX did last month, and around 5:30 in the clip you see a woman's head just above the table and next to AFX. And before that, she's standing up, kinda dancing off to the side a bit in the shadows. She's smiling quite a bit and looks like she's enjoying the show. I say it's gotta be Richard's wife, especially based on a couple of pictures I saw of Richard and her in our interview/pic/music archive.
