Fall Music

lo-fi

Recommended Posts

Hi folks......been a while since I've posted on here, though I lurk almost daily.

What music most identifies with Fall for you?

I think of Walter(Wendy) Carlos - Sonic Seasonings......Casino vs. Japan, Freescha, Canyon Country, dead eros, Ten and Tracer, milieu, fieldtriqp, Boards of Canada, trills, hills west, etc. Share your favorite Fall music selections......I'm always looking/listening for something new to add to my playlist......Any synth-based(with beats) stuff would be cool, but all suggestions are welcome. I've been diggin' stuff from Lukid lately as well.(Someone recommended deerhunter on here and I'm finding some of their songs to fit in nicely with the falling leaves and cooler weather)

Guest dese manz hatin

for some reason i always tend to (quite stereotypically) turn to the radiohead records in the first days of fall....especially The Bends.

apart from that, fall imo really suits music along the lines of

Suicide

The XX

BoC - Campfire Headphase

Beach House

GAS

The Velvet Underground

(minimal) techno.....the abrasive, harsh, dirty side of it like Ostgut, Terence Fixmer, Matthew Dear
