I bought the bundle, yeah.. because i wanted the 'Muda na Mono', pointless object thing, to stand the CD in as an ornament.

 

and i also wanted the vinyl, for obvious reasons.

not if you never listen to it. i think that was the whole idea! lol

most people rip CD's to their computer's and then leave them on the shelf or somewhere.

the Muda na Mono turned the CD, which otherwise would be a pointless object after having been ripped, into a kind of ornament that was a bit different and nicer to look at than a load of CD's and cases on a shelf.

the only people who really listen to CD's anymore are old people, or people in their cars on the way to work or travelling, but even that's on the way out as you now having ipod/iphone docking stations and various inputs for MP3 players in (newer) cars now.

 

vinyl has and will survive throughout everything, tho, imho.

 

and i still really like cassette tapes. 'cos i'm a retro-hipster. :)

somebody nicked my Scintilli CD. i'd only had it for a few weeks, if that. and some bastard had it away.

i think it was my sister's boyfriend, as it was only ever in the kitchen by the CD player in there.

but he has shit taste in music! and isn't really into electronic stuff at all.

thankfully i've still got the vinyl, and MP3's.. :)

 

there are some thiefing bastards about.. round at my mates house his missus's niece comes round at times and brings her boyfriend.. the niece is only 17 and he is 20 bloodclaat 6!.. this boyfriend is a know dirty lowdown tealeaf... we don't like him and never speak to him when he's there :)
