So that girl I commissioned to make mine never followed through. Luckily no money was exchanged, so no biggie... but still no artwork... also money is tight now, so the tattoo will most likely be postponed until I get a new job. It will be my present to myself for getting a new job.

Oh yeah, and I still have to have it designed...

I saw a guy with the Ken's salad dressing logo on his arm with the quote "I put that shit on everything" beneath it.

I also know a guy who was in the Air Force who has 16:20 tattooed on his leg.

Tattoos.

I've actually designed tattoos for about five people and been paid for it (just the design I wouldn't know how to use the gun if my life depended on it) but this is just because I like taking peoples money and I like drawing things.

I actually do not like tattoos at all. And since I'm irritatingly contrarianist by nature and tattoos have boomed into the norm (to the point where I can go all day and not see another cleanskin), I am finding myself even more adamant in my stance.

Too many people get them and tell themselves and everyone around them that its because it MEANS something to them but really I think a lot of it is just wank. A lot of people decide they want a tattoo first, and then find something that is so precious to them. The order of this speaks volumes to me.

Anyway a lot of girls are far less interested in guys who don't have ridiculous sleeves so, now being single, if I decide I want some play I really have my work cut out for me.

I might get a fake tatt. Something I can pull off my arm in the morning and go "HAHA I FOOLED YOU, YOUR DAD PROBABLY WOULDN'T HATE ME AT ALL HAHA"

I read that story this morning on my Facebook feed and figured it must be fake, but apparently it's very real and a quite remarkable and awesome turn in the story.

The story behind it was actually pretty sad, I felt bad for the guy who was just trying to pay tribute to his wife and ended up getting a shitty tattoo. Awesome of the artist who fixed it up to do it for free. Looks pretty decent now.

I'm getting my first tattoo soon on my 21st.

gonna have a small indiana state outline on my inner right ankle. sounds really ghey i know but my home state is important to me for a lot of reasons and i like the inconspicuous and hairless area of my inner ankle.

going with my best friend/woman i'm in love with and she's getting her second so it's an event i guess.

will post pics in a month when i get it!
