The first round has begun! Get your votes in everyone.

The new schedule is:

March 14th: Deadline for brainstorming.

March 16th: Deadline for free-voting on the brainstormed ideas.

March 18th: Deadline for voting on the top 64.

March 20st: Deadline for voting on the top 32.

March 22rd: Deadline for voting on the sweet sixteen.

March 24th: Deadline for voting on the elite eight.

March 26th: Deadline for voting on the quarter finals.

March 28th: Deadline for voting on the semi-finals.

March 31st: Deadline for voting on the finals.

The top seed this year is "Ulillillia losing the MOST IDM tournament every year", after narrowly overtaking "Enjoying getting your teeth drilled for the texture of the sound" in the qualification round.

Top seed from last year, "Ejaculating into fire" is still in the game, but much lower down on the ladder.

This round, we get to choose between "WATMM" and "Autism". How will we decide.

Notably, "Sirro by Effecks Twin winning a Gammy" could go up against "Sirro by Effecks Twin winning a Granny" in the finals.

And this ism I think, the first year where WATMM could officially create a tribute album to your dick!

EDIT: I forgot to mention, this year we have a very long topic that can't fit in the poll. The full text is:

Crunchy sounds with reverb and delay and the Amen break and gabber kicks, which repeat with variation each time, and an autotuned "Ooh" sample culled from an early noughties RnB track at the end of every fourth bar, all of which has been cut up into a footwork remix with a music video by Spike Lee featuring Clive Owen and Holly Valance

EDIT2: I also forgot to provide the LINK to the bracketology. I started using bracket maker because Fred used to use it in the older tournaments, and it's a very useful tool for getting the seeing/match-ups right. Do you guys ever look at, to picture how the tournament will go? Is it worth including the link?

Landing on a comet v not making eye contact was a tough choice, it's hard to pick a favourite but I'm intrigued to see how this pans out.

i felt the same way, but then i thought that landing on a comet is more engineering than IDM. not making eye contact is purely IDM.

I should've thought ahead. "Paying $3 to make a second WATMM account so that you can vote on Most IDM twice" would've been a contender.

Getting banned because somehow watmm knows when you're using a vpn to scramble your IP when making two accounts should have gotten some votes too.

Wow smoking pipe inside a space helmet and ice water with ice already loosing, that's quite unusual !!!

GO DIGITAL VINYLS !

That should mean that "Suggesting the same thing for MOST IDM eight years in a row, and it never wins" would be winning, BUT NO!!!!

I couldn't possibly explain this phenomenon.
