Listen to the previews HERE: @ http://www.recordlabelrecords.org/rlr15.html I can't wait to get this, as the previews sound LUSH. Recently banned from WATMM, Brian Ellis a/k/a "Weird Al" at WATMM, releases this 12" chock full of of funky dancy Tech-Noir tunes, with a style all his own~! (I sound like a crappy press agent there). I dunno. I really want this. I wish I wasn't so fucking poor!

http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseact...logId=476015284 The sample track, and single, "get it right now", is horribly mixed, and of shit quality. So I'm hoping this won't be all some shitty tracks he's dug out, that aren't mastered and giving for free. I'm hoping for a quality product. I for one really dug his newest releases, The 11th hour, and I like the direction he's going in. Especially his production style. Here's to this being the best deal of the year so far There will also be a tour for this release.

ACP045: Filaria - Spare Part Our newest release from Dave Filaria (Acroplane/Kinnego Flux/Bugklinik).This is an album of mixed styles, some quite recent, some quite old, some in between. Uncertain 2. Aucid FLux 3. Pacemaker 4. Macidonia 5. Anna's Step 6. Green Line 7. Lurghan Park 99 8. 3rd Move 9. Between the lines 10. Noise shape excerpt 11. Spare Part 12. Heard some of the tracks off the new album this week, it's like chopped up Prince, very cool. Brighty is one of the hottest tunes I've heard in a while, he dropped this last week and it was a dance party. http://www.myspace.com/machinedrum

http://www.thresholdhouse.com/arrivals.html "One of the the things I promise to do, after I return from touring and before I leave the Compound, is to complete the long awaited Coil Live Video Collection, Colour Sound Oblivion. Its mostly done, in fact. Only the first and last shows remain to be edited. However the long delay has raised another question: By now even Americans have come to accept that NTSC is one of the worst TV systems ever invented and are struggling to improve the quality of their TV. I was planning to make a box set comprising some 9 or 10 shows and three hours of Projection style dvd discs with accompanying "karaoke" style music tra…

i know a lot of people (including myself) cringe at the prodigy these days, but some of their new stuff theyve been trying out live actually sounds promising. lots of old skewl breaks, piano stabs, horns and chipmunk vocals...perhaps a return to the roots? or are they cashing in on the rave revival thats sort of knocking around at the moment? it looks early days still, no release date or tracklistings...but heres a few live samples... worlds on fire: warriors dance: unstoppable: beat 55: dead ken beats:

ACP044: Lackluster - Cold Trail The 1st release on Acroplane by Lackluster. 'One of a kind' is the expression which best describes the Finnish electronic music auteur Esa Ruoho, regardless whether we are talking about the organic quality of his music under the artist name Lackluster or just the artist himself in his private life. Esa Ruoho is truly an original; a homegrown and uncompromising composer and an eccentric explorer of science and nature. The Cold Trail EP is Esa at his melodic best. here's the writeup from kahvi collective #264: Lackluster / Live at Oblivion Its time for the first release of 2009 - after the superb Solar Fields ep, we've got a Kahvi regular. Lackluster is a familiar name to many Kahvi followers, and after the success of his live set at the Netaudio Festival London 2008 (a Lackluster set is something to experience live) I asked Esa if he could supply a recording of one of his sets, and here it is. Live at Oblivion (Helsinki) - 14-11-08 is a prime example of what makes Lackluster great in the live gig circuit. Continuously evolving beats and grooves, all created in real time by splicing, shifting, pounding, and manip…
