footage looks very in-development, but seeing this makes me so incredibly excited for the game. ico and shadow of the colossus were both perfect and i can't imagine team ico/fumito ueda doing any wrong with this game :) it does kind of look like a cross between ico and shadow, which would crush any expectations of them doing something totally new and revolutionary, but i'm sure it'll still be amazing.

most of the time, when i'm searching for something, i know how to spell it, and if it's something obscure that is similar to something spelt differently, google 'helpfully suggests' what i 'might' be after, to the extent of not actually giving me the results i'm looking for. for example, i was looking for 'chanel 9', the fast show sketch, and got this: i know i could use quotes, or include the term 'fast show' to narrow it down, but there doesn't seem to be any way to turn off the autocorrect feature. it's happened to me a few times now, it's ridiculous!

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/series/cha...ilderberg-files first, just read this, all of it. saw the first couple at work last week but it's now been hitting digg etc recently too, prime internet material... if i had stumbled across prison planet or the like one day then i would have been heavily cynical in the 'fucking conspiracy theories' vein, but this is real. and it's also not being published in the paper, just online. weirdly people seem to be wailing on him a bit for the humourous journalistic approach too but it's almost perfect in exposing something deeply wrong to those who would be otherwise wary of shouty drama and opinion. if he had gone in…

So I've decided that I want to get some general programming skills, mainly to make websites and get better with Flash. What would be a good language to learn, considering I only have a very basic understanding of Java?

i see these coming down in price now, wondering what the advantages and disadvantages are. i would assume; faster boot & shutdown, no defrag, noiseless, better stability? i've read integration and benchmarks with Vista are good, anyone used one in a Mac?

I thought it was a really fun and easy to read book, and also very helpful! I think we all do things that are rude without really noticing, and this book helps you learn how to be better in social situations. Anyone else who's read this want to share your thoughts, or if you haven't read it and have some questions you could ask me because now I'm really knowledgeable on the subject, and I recommend you read this if you want to learn how to make friends better.

I would use the word censoring option to mess with people, for example I would likely change 'the' into 'it' or maybe even something odd like 'fan' into 'chord'. would you change them?

when i was a teenager i liked horizontal music. layers existed in order to provide a framework for a catchy verse or a solo. there were verses and choruses but it had to go somewhere. then i heard the orb and aphex twin's selected ambient works 85-92. this was different music, it was vertical. it relied on stacking layers on top of each other. it didn't have to go anywhere melodically, it achieved the desired effect in a different way. but then i discovered jazz, maybe the most horizontal music of all. i became obsessed with the way coltrane would explore a mode or scale, sculpting realms of possibility using sheets of sound - this was different to the earlier horizo…
