as much as I love almost all of rdj's output these 2 eps have never done it for me. am I the only one? they both are kind of wishy washy midtempo whatevers (though I do like the probus and marazanvose mixes a bit).

Mazaranvose is spoiled by all that piss at the beginning and end.

If he'd extended the mid-section (Y'know, the actual content) it'd get my vote as best mix.

Geez, set aside the prejudice to high-pitched sqeals! :)

This song is pretty tits. There's some great mixes too, namely the Wheeze one, Crowsmengus (loves the organ section), etc. etc...

i love it

and quite frankly i'm disappointed that noone has mentione dthat the cylob remix is 500% excellent

+++++++++++++++++++++++ :yeah::ok:

cylob's mix is fucking slick.......

haters - if you listen to singles collection from start to finish you'll see the true beauty of the ventolin's...i think he might have edited them a bit for this release, they seem to play better

I like the one that's all just fucked up sketches of songs. Hidden treasure, that one.

word... before reading this thread... cylob's mix popped into my head... i think my favorite mix has to be luke vibert's mix... i love the bass of that... at the time of it's release, i had a friend that had a booming system. he was into hip hop of course, but he loved to listen to luke's remix because of the bass!

goddamnit. u people. ventolin is excellence. and the best songs are obviously: coppice mix, asthma beats, deep gong mix, plain an gwarry mix, and wheeze mix, in that order. all the others are good too, but you bastards are overlooking these fine works. goddamnit.

WTF... you DARE challenge ME????

Only available in Japan and Austrailia, this collection contains all of Richard's singles released on WARP Records up until the Richard D. James Album.

The "51/13" in the title refers to the total run time of the album.

The cd releases for "51/13 Aphex Singles Collection" incorrectly identify tracks #1 and #7 as simply "On" and "73-Yips", respectively. Also, tracks #3 and #9 are misspelled as being "Ventolin (crowsmangegus mix edit)" and "Ventolin (marazavose mix edit)", respectively. The corrections are as appear below.

On the cd releases for "51/13 Aphex Singles Collection", the song entitled "Ventolin (marazanvose mix edit)" is actually an edit of the last 1:07 minutes of "Ventolin (praze-an-beeble mix)" plus the entirety of "Ventolin (marazanvose mix)".

WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW?

the ventolin ep, especially the US version, is a shining example of what a remix ep should be. i got mine for like 4.50 brand new when it came out, and it's like an album pretty much, and it all sounds fucking amazing. you fags who dont like it dont get aphex twin and need to be removed from the planet.

crowsmengegus mix should be number one or two on the list, you fail at appreciating ventolin.
