the god people are fucking wack-a-do. whatever brings the end times and ushers in the 2nd coming. 

 

according to the good book- there's a certain number of prophecies that must be fulfilled before the 2nd coming can begin. think of it like a video game: before advancing to stage 2, you must first collect some info- move capital of israel to jerusalem (done!)- begin some sinful activity (currently doing..)- resent god (done)- get everyone coded with the number of the beast on their arm (or hand i fink)- then get lucifer to go up a mountain and say he's god. 

 

it's at that radical and very idm moment that jesus returns

He actually said all that racist shit to make the point that racism is a problem in America.  I know this because he referenced Childish Gambino:

"This is America. Your staff should be speaking English, OK?"

The really disheartening thing is that the guy probably had a decent education. When toothless hicks are saying that kind of thing, I tend to understand it more, but I'm not sure how a guy as privileged as that can say such ignorant things.

i'm not entirely convinced that was racism as much as an unhealthy obsession with rules. per the link posted above:

she even manages to cough up the code/ordinance/violation thingy there at the end that she keeps talking about the entire time. as fussy as it sounds (and in my opinion, pretty fucking stupid), she might actually be right about the grill. i won't necessarily rule out some crazy lady calling cops on a few homies in the park, but to be honest considering her career revolves around air quality it is entirely possible this lady just takes breathing seriously or something.
