hands-down, definetly and unrefutably for me, im still in shock after 2 months of this being out. top 10 if u take the rest of the project into account

edit: I think the autechre NTS thing killed the exposure of a couple of things.. this, the new ceephax and mu-ziq too no? anyways here's the thread for the 4th stage

I've been underwhelmed or outright disappointed by almost everything I've bought this year. Hmm.

Four I have enjoyed:
The Future Sound of London - My Kingdom Reimagined
Simple Minds - Walk Between Worlds
Current 93 - The Stars on Their Horsies
Bobo Stenson Trio ‎– Contra La Indecisión

I've been listening to it for a week or so, somehow reminds me of Ssaliva. It's refreshing to hear such hmmm unapologetically digital ambient'ish music. I quite like it.

I totally forgot to mention Timedance's compilation, Patina Echoes. Some amazing tunes on that one.

I quite liked Scuba's new album Caibu as SCB.

Also Jenny Hval's 'The Long Sleep' is a good one too, got the girlfriend on that one. Some more 'electronic' releases this year are a bit boring for me. Not that I need or even want crazy complex and fast music.

I have yet to listen to the new serpentwithfeet, but I imagine that I'm going to really dig it. I caught David Byrne on tour a few months ago and it was truly incredible. I brought my pops for his birthday and he was moved to tears. I'm glad we got to check off that bucket list item together.
