http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ID8oBR82nnw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FGQu15S5B8 Much more mature sound these days. I guess they stopped adding all the electronic elements like the drum n bass stuff. Really good album though.

it's a great album! i'm at work so i can't post a youtube clip, but yeah i'm looking for similar stuff, it really suits my tastes at the moment. and i'm really out of touch when it comes to melodic (progressive?) dance music.

It's mainly focussed towards the recording of nature sounds and is quite dry at times but: http://fora.tv/2009/09/22/Dr_Bernie_Krause_The_Great_Animal_Orchestra#fullprogram (unfortunately I can't embed it for the lazy people ....) I really liked the section about the sounds made by trees ( http://fora.tv/2009/09/22/Dr_Bernie_Krause_The_Great_Animal_Orchestra#Dr_Krause_Discovers_a_Singing_Cottonwood_Tree ). Growing trees are proper IDM !

Musicians with wacky religious beliefs 1 2 3
by Guest Iain C- 74 replies

List them here. Low are pretty heavily into the Mormonism: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ai-5tDAuYWU Beck and the Incredible String Band are serious Scientologists: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPIAEVJ5oF0 Yusuf Islam (formerly Cat Stevens) is a high-profile convert to... you guessed it... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q29YR5-t3gg Now, I'm not a religious man. In fact, in the words of Robert Kilroy-Silk, "I think they're all false". But I've got a prurient interest in the religious beliefs of high-quality musicians. So if you know any others, spin 'em out here. The more exotic and outlandish the better - Christians are ten-a-penny in Western mu…

http://www.residentadvisor.net/podcast-episode.aspx?id=250 You have to register for the (free) site to get the mix. What have you been up to recently? Mueller: Investigating new technologies and developing concepts for future works, all these things functions in a unified manner. They feedback to one another. Martin: Zwischenwelt's album production. We all worked really hard for this project, can't wait to see the album out. Also I have been concentrated on ArD2, a project I share with the Spanish producer Ekis. We just finished a new EP and shot a video for one of the tracks of the new EP. Nowadays I'm researching a lot, building the concept for a n…
