Here's the link; registration required I'm a big fan of the label, one of the best dubstep 140BPM EDM labels out there. It's a punt, but I'll feel better if a WATMMer has a chance of winning. Runner-up prizes ain't half bad either. Prizes: One winner will receive: - A copy of every Hotflush vinyl release to date One winner will receive: - A Hotflush t-shirt, a copy of Mount Kimbie's Crooks & Lovers and Scuba's Triangulation on vinyl Two winners will receive: - A digital copy of the Back and 4th compilation

Don't know much about this record label apart from a few Earth lps. Just wondered if any of you might be in the loop and have a few helpful hints? Having a look on their website reveals them to be not just your average record label, it all seems very cool indeed, well executed and oozing nice goodies. I'll proberbly do some trawling tomorrow but perhaps you can help me with my homework. Cheers

http://aheadmusic.bandcamp.com/ Here's a bandcamp I put together of stuff I did in the past from 2004 and on. Some of these are releases that were on net labels that aren't around anymore, some project 168, Compilation tracks, remixes, and so forth. and of course... FREE. and while you're at it, pay my latest ep a visit as well. http://architectsandheroes.bandcamp.com/album/forward-lateral-ep-a-h002

Braindance Community

Hi everybody! We've started a new page on Facebook called Braindance Community. We will post news about what we think is braindance material :) Favorite tracks, new releases, new mixes and of course new vids. I think a few of you already know Fabbotube. This tube has stopped because we can't use the name 'Xtacid' no more, which was used as Xtacid Report, this is because it's used for other purposes. Go to Braindancevids for the new tube of Braindance Community. We've bought a new videocamera which can record in HD and has far more better sound quality! I know my vids are "sometimes" shaky (really not my intention :P), so I will also try to upload audio…

I won a competition for writing a 2 minute piece to one of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Pictures. Soooooo, apparently in the section dedicated to the pictures in Bristol Museum you can stroll up to a touchscreen and stick your finger on my name and listen to the tune :) So if you're in Bristol and fancy listening to some electronic music in a Museum, go there.... or go here....http://soundcloud.com/arboreal-1/beachface or don't :) bye bye

Mastering Online
by Guest Mitchell01- 5 replies

The upsurge in the need for mastering services has been responsible for the growth of online mastering services. Online mastering services are necessary for reaching out to the customer who stays away from the mastering studio. Mastering is highly important for making the sound sweeter. It can be used for corrective purposes or enhancing purposes. The mastering services include fixing the gaps between songs, adding eq and compression wherever required, leveling the volume of the tracks etc. The mastering services have prospered over the years. Earlier there was the concept of attended mastering, which involved the customer sitting next to the engineer to watch the proces…

I think that is what I want from music more than anything else, more often that not; music to energise me. I thought someone else might have made a thread titled 'tracks like St Michael's Mount' or something similar, search didn't bring anything up. Not hyper detailed, not breakcore, not angry, just fast, relentless, forceful even. A cavalcade of sound, a rush, music that's falling over itself to surge forward. I'd bother with metal but I want beauty, a pure crisp sound, not angst. So, Venetian Snares' Pwntendo and Hospitality are the fastest music I've heard. They just scream with speed. I'm bored of listening to new electronic music and being bored and disappoin…
