   i just found this in a used bin for 5 bucks and thought i had hit the jackpot, since cylob rules and all three astrobotnia albums are in my top 20 electronica albums list... anyway, I dropped it in the stereo to help me drive across montana today and it totally sucks! i had such high hopes and was bored out of my mind. almost fell asleep at the wheel because of this crap wtf my two cents. anyone have feelings about this album?

   Been rocking this Cylob set for some months now: http://durftal.com/music/cylob/CYLOB_IS_BRITAINS_BEST_DJ.MP3 Lots of stompy breakbeat, real fresh stuff! It veers off into spaz territory later in the set, which isn't so friendly but nonetheless interesting. So anyways, I want to build a tracklist, theres loads of gems in there. Can we put heads together and do this? I know maybe two tunes in the entire set..... Posted in GB for more exposure/knowledge. Much appreciated if you can contribute.

   i think this is probably quite a little known track for squarepusher fans and completists. it says "bass by someone else" on the record its an alright track but its not as good as pp roy and global goon working in harmony together though is it now? i have high hopes for this thread

   ok so i was in london last summer, i was at the sister ray records shop when, i swear to god, i saw a cd with the exact same artwork as cylobotnia, but with some other name written on it. i went WTF! but i can't fucking remember what it was. can someone help me out on that? i would eat my own shite to know what that cd was. and i'm 100% certain that cylob copied the cylobotnia artwork from that fucking cd. he did it already with trojan fader style:

    I feel if other artists took a few tips from him and sold as much music as he does over the inter webs they could reach alot of newer audiences and crowds. lets face it, his digital releases haven’t been his greatest stuff, but he's releasing a constant string of pretty decent material. While other WATMM artists hradly release anything. I feel Cylob is doing a pretty good job here. He's exposing himself with unreleased, or after thought tracks so in the meantime he's getting a lot of playtime. And when he does have a new album come out he can potentially sell a shit ton of albums to new fans. I've always thought, Cylob, Ceephax, and Vibert have been the unsung heros …

    this album makes me think cylob is better then aphex twin.. though i think around 96' they lived together so it could be a mutral inspiration for them both.. so it could be cylob sounded more liek aphex then he did at that period, or aphex proceeded to sound more like cylob? but in this album anyways, the stringy type sounds are more beautiful [imo] then SAW2 and the beats are in the same vain as 96' afx, but i feel cylob in this instance has one over aphex. cylobian sunset is the nicest album i've re-discovered...

    a few tips: your nick must be registered to send private messages. register your nick like so: /nickserv register somepassword to log into your nick again later, do this: /nickserv identify yourpassword for more help, type: /nickserv help this is #watmm on irc.freenode.net, you can access it with a normal irc client if you want. you need to allow java and javascript to make this work. tested in ff2 and ie7.
