  1. Devastating news. He was such an influential figure on the experimental scene, what more can be said... Quietus has done a pretty touching piece on his roots, sounds like a truly wonderful human who breathed music his whole life. Rest in noise, captain pita!
  2. Not to hijack, but I've actually never heard any AA, any reccos? Is there anything there that sounds like Environment 5?
  3. Really great stuff all around, so glad Ivan made these available for wider consumption. I really enjoyed the Jarman OST as well and finally completed my SoiSong cd collection this year (minus the impossible rare memory box).
  4. Finally got around to listening to this. Really lovely album full of those classic braindance vibes. Recommended!
  5. This probably belongs here. I really enjoyed reading Noise/Music so looking forward to digging into this https://www.bloomsbury.com/uk/annihilating-noise-9781501335433/
  6. I'm two episodes deep too! Totally getting those innsmouth vibes too. I noticed a distant relative playing the part of the preachor as well.
  7. I'm watching this too (Episode 3 now) and just finding it so sensationalist. Satanic panic hysteria all over this thing.
  8. $9. And then $30 for a tshirt, $50 for 4 tapes and $65 for a windbreaker...
  9. this was really good and a lot more accessible in parts, not sure if thats a good thing or bad
  10. So Ivan has kindly made this broadcast available for free on Bandcamp. I can recognise familiar melodic motifs from Soisong jams of yore, as well as some class selections from Datacide, Jon Hassell, etc. So damn good. https://coh-official.bandcamp.com/track/soisong-broadcast-1
  11. I watched this movie after drinking a few cups of tea brewed with morning glory seeds and i remember that desert scene really doing my head in. Need to revisit.
  12. Yeah r ess really is just the perfect intro. Takes me the fuck away.
  13. nice clips! i hadn't seen some of these before
  14. The Graffiti subculture i think, sampled from Style Wars. Read the review posted above! REQ also used it ages ago on his LP 'One'.
  15. What kinda tobacco does your kitty like? Also, nice savage pencil shirt?!
  16. Damn dude these guys make the spiciest fucking noodles. It was game over for me. And I'm a ghost pepper man.
  17. damn that picture disc IS sexy. the price tag, not so much. sigh Try the Solstice EPs, and then maybe Elph and Time Machines work.
  18. The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover Recently revisited this classic and holy smokes it was even better on second rewatch! Amazing sets, costumes, soundtrack and acting all around. Packed to the brim with crazy attention to detail and mad tracking shots. Really just a perfectly executed film in my books. I'm wondering if anyone has any other recommendations from Peter Greenaway's filmography?!
