The other track was good. If the album was like that, I'm happy.

crap, i never checked out that other track, doing it now

that one is indeed better, more in the vein of Ghost Of Love/Imaginary Girl

an album like that would be good indeed

It's good indeed. And - hint - the goodness is directly related to the height of the volume.

Just trying to make sure, you don't miss that as well. ;-)

http://musicfeeds.com.au/news/david-lynch-releases-star-studded-charity-album/

The fabled and decorated film director David Lynch has recently been dipping a toe into the world of music, what with his own album of electronica, to go alongside his famously awesome use of music in his films. His latest venture is a charity album that has brought together some very large names from the music world.

Spinner reports on the release of the album, entitled Download for Good: Music That Changes the World. The collection, overseen by Lynch himself, features the likes of Peter Gabriel, Tom Waits, Maroon 5, Andy Summers of The Police, Dave Stewart, Iggy Pop, Alanis Morrissette, Moby, Nancy Sinatra, Jakob Dylan and Daryl Hannah. The album is designed to spread the word of transcendental meditation, to which David Lynch and the David Lynch Foundation Music are strict adherents. Lynch first discovered the practice during the filming of his 1977 film Eraserhead, and he has continued with it ever since.

The 33-track album is available for download through iTunes. In a press release Lynch said, “The artists who have shared their music are spreading happiness… When you download these songs, you’ll get to enjoy great music and also know that you are bringing happiness to someone, somewhere in the world. Great artists, great mood, great music, great good is going to come. I encourage you to download for good.”

Brilliant. Thanks for that Mr. Lynch, couldn't you put it on a service that doesn't require your machine to be butt-raped within an inch of its resources

(damnit why can't I edit my posts? What I meant to post before was this:)

So I was wondering whatever happened to that keynote speech/interview thing he did in Ibiza... I just found it on Youtube but it seems like a waste of time. I skipped my way through it and no one really said anything interesting and it just reinforced my opinion that Rob Da Bank is a dullard.

Also Lynch basically said he has no solid ideas for his next feature film and his film about Maharishi Whoever won't be done for ages either.

So yeah, here it is but it's pretty bad:
