This is now officially the mathematical analysis of trends concerning Autechre's full length releases. At last I have a place to submit my data about average album title initial and average release month. Just hang tight and I will submit the data so someone else can plot it for me.

DO NOTE: this is all about albums that Autechre have released as full lengths, so despite their runtimes, EP7 and Move of Ten will not be found herein.

The first paragraph is merely the day within the month each album was released along with the number of tracks and total runtime minus any bonus tracks, the second is the mean, median, mode and range for each of these fields.

Incunabula - November 29th (11 tracks at 78:04 or 4684s)

Amber - November 7th (11 tracks at 74:27 or 4467s)

Tri Repetae - November 9th (10 tracks at 72:34 or 4354s)

Chiastic Slide - February 17th (9 tracks at 69:53 or 4193s)

LP5 - July 13th (11 tracks at 76:16 or 4576s)

Confield - April 30th (9 tracks at 62:03 or 3723s)

Draft 7.30 - April 7th (10 tracks at 62:51 or 3751s)

Untilted - April 18th (8 tracks at 69:50 or 4190s)

Quaristice - March 3rd (20 tracks at 73:15 or 4395s)

Oversteps - February 22nd (14 tracks at 71:16 or 4276s)

Mean month and day: June 16th. Mean number of tracks: 11. Mean album length: 4260.9s or 71.015 minutes)

Median month and day: April 17th. Median number of tracks: 11. Median album length: 4354s or 72.567 minutes)

Mode month and day: no mode month since both April and November appear 3 times. Mode day: 7th. Mode amount of tracks: 11. No mode album length, but Chiastic Slide and Untilted are 3 seconds apart in length so you could maybe say the mode album length is somewhere between 4190 to 4193 seconds.

Range month and day: October 27th. Range number of tracks: 13. Range album length: 961s or 16.016 minutes.

I'd like to see another graph: the amount of bars that got released over time. In this graph you can add any ae track that is officially released and takes things like tracklength and amount of tracks into account. It should say a lot about the productivity of them boyz, and should be a good basis to predict when a new release will be made and how many bars it'll contain!!!

If my intuitions are correct, the differences between tempi and tracklength will even out as slower tracks will tend to be longer. (in other words: there's a meaningful average amount of bars an Ae track will have, regardless of whether the music is up or down tempo).
