So, one potential result of this question will be that I’m crazy, but anyhoo... On Drum n Bass for Papa (somewhere?!), there’s a track that has a vocal sample saying “I Freak Techniques” with a bongo-slappin drum break behind it. I’ve been searching for that breakdown and I can’t seem to find it, not on my copy, not on YouTube. In which track and at what time is that? Or am I crazy? I even found the bonus tracks thinking that might be it, but no.. Obviously checked the track of the same name, and that’s not it either?! bonus points for the vocal sample

i've always loved this video. just got around to hearing luke's Turn EP and i'm instantly recognising the catchy synths - right at the start of this video - used on JJP. i guess they have a sample in common? this video is apparently from 1970 so what's the story?

Rumored releases I'm aware of are an LP on Warp, an LP on Planet Mu, and an unreleased Plug LP on NinjaTune. What comes first and when, anyone got the skinny? And, anything coming along I'm not aware of? Is it possible to get enough of Luke Vibert?

Sometimes, Luke Vibert releases can become pretty elusive, but not as elusive as his remixes, which seems to pop out of nowhere half the time. if any of you hear of a brand new Vibert/WC/Plug/Kerrier District/Amen Andrews/etc. remix on the web, feel free to post about it, or even better, post a link to it, here. Here's hoping the admin for this group will pin this. i'll get started with a couple links. https://youtu.be/yYZ9xLGKM0Y https://youtu.be/J1rnEDft3bk

https://www.xlr8r.com/news/2017/03/luke-vibert-announces-new-album/ A new Luke Vibert album is on the way. For his next full-length release, British producer Luke Vibert returns to Hypercolour—an imprint that he has released previously on, both under his own name and as Kerrier District. Luke Vibert Presents UK Garave Vol. 1 is described my the imprint as "a 10-track ode to the era of M25 convoys, mobile phone hotlines and raving amongst dogs on strings in British aerodrome fields," packed with "imaginatively used samples, familiar piano riffs, customary beats and other rave tropes." Luke Vibert Presents UK Garave Vol. 1 is due out May 5.

Any one ever seen/heard of this one before ? I've collected Vibert remixes for 20 years and had never seen this one. Looks legit from the back picture of the cd case. https://www.discogs.com/ON-Deep-Love/release/6999933

Came across this today, I believe this was from the same show which had the Vibert mix by DJ Warp- with the unreleased Warp tracks. https://soundcloud.com/abstractscience/luke-vibert-livedj-abstract-science-wluw-887-chicago-2006

Another track seemingly to help out a tiny label on a vinyl release. Said label appears mainly based around a massive archive of African field recordings, so I'm not surprised Luke wanted to sink his teeth into that. Certainly has Africa vibes.
