i'm selling off most of my vinyl and my cds. i haven't gotten my cds ready to go yet because i want to get rid of my vinyl first. no, i didn't make errors in listing. if you see two of the same thing, i have two of them. if you couldn't tell, i'm totally gay for squarepusher. if you want something, make me an offer via PM. if you need more information, send me a message. i would rather they go to you guys because i know you all like this stuff. and plus i don't want to ebay 46 records individually. i will update this as records become spoken for. if you see something here, assume it's still available. 12 rounds - pleasant smell EP alien sex fiend -…

This band was sooo fucking good at one point. I know a lot of you kids were too young to remember how they blew up and conquered the world. I literally worshiped them when I was in middle school (when the "Use Your Illusion" albums came out). I figure some of you cunts have some good taste and would like to geek out over GNR with me. Some of my favorite songs, from off the top of my head. Coma Out Ta Get Me My World It's So Easy Rocket Queen One in a Million Get in the Ring Yesterdays Patience You're Crazy Fuck dude. They're all fucking genius. I was just thinking about them today, like most days, and was admiring how their lyrics were always abo…

Linky I took this from the fabric website many years ago, and decided to upload it this evening. It is a collection of John's answers to an interview ahead of his fabric cd release. I think its fascinating and I hope some of you enjoy listening to this if you havn't heard it already (the CD was released in December 2002 so this must be from just before then as he talks about the state of the football league). Only annoying thing is that the questions have been edited out - but you can guess what most of them are. He then talks about each of the tracks on the mix and his reasons for choosing them. 1. Asa-Chang & Junray - Hana (Excerpt) - The Leaf L…

Songs that use 8-bit sounds
by Guest Backson- 9 replies

its hard to explain, but I'm looking for music that uses old chiptune sounds in interesting new ways. but not to the point where they feel completely like chiptune songs. an example is Clark's new track "Nordic Wilt" that has that has a few 8-bitty sounds.

I love all of these great old 12" from the 90's that i never got a chance to buy and that no one cares about anymore! now they're all cheap or have been reissued and i'm buying them up. ...like all that old stuff from The Black Dog, now there for the taking.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9vAOzYz-Qs I'm not either for or against the Gorillaz. I like Blur and generally Damon Albarn. There are some songs I like and some that I don't from their previous albums. The new single is a little boring, but has some interesting splashes (2:07 caught me after interest began to wane). Oh, and as usual, the album is a collaboration with some "cool" people. It's probably going to be the biggest pop release of 2010.

Is Rick Rubin a beat maker?

I saw the 99 Problems video, and seeing him as this big hairy white guy rolling in the hood somehow worked. It was goddamn cool. So does he actually wack out the sampler every now and then for rappers, or does he just attempt to teach nu metal bands to age gracefully?
