Honestly, I don’t even like their first two albums. They’re influential I guess, but they actually got good when Barney joined. Everything from Enemy Of The Music Business until now is good-to-great. The old heavy hitters are still the best tend to agree, tho that pretty much applies to all musics (sans the distortion pedals). is this how it feels getting old? on the other hand i do think there's some actual measurable decline in innovation since the millennial turn, like imagine retro parties 30 years from NOW on... what will they celebrate? 80s retro-retro??
