Especially when compared to other releases from the same year, including the Aphex. So yes, it's my favourite album of the last 5 years, even though it came out nearly 20 years ago(!) Pretty much the whole album is gold, but these are my favourite tracks. [media=] [/media] [media=] [/media] For albums released strictly within the last five years I would probably say Oversteps. It's a good time for discovering OPN, a lot of his older stuff is available to buy digitally; Boomkat have a good selection, see also KGB Man (pseudonym) which they have as well. I keep meaning to collate a bunch of his various web-only oddities from over the years into an easy grab pack for folks. That latter album had a huge impact on me, probably one of the best "rock" records I know. Up there with the earliest R.E.M.-stuff :-) Oh, and my first post, by the way :-) Hi there.
