'The Philosophy of Sound and Machine' Comp

Never knew this existed. Thanks to the B12 thread I found this in my search for more B12. It's really fucking good. A couple afx tracks I never heard either and Balil who were Plaid apparently. Very rare of course and people are selling them for $120CAD on discogs, so I pursued it through slsk.

I got a somewhat scratched but playable copy of some guy who didn't know what he had for $25 back in the day. He quickly found out what it was but agreed at the price I offered anyway!

Good comp. I really like "Small Energies" by Balil, who I always thought was a one man project, until you said

... and Balil who were Plaid apparently

?

Balil is Andy from Plaid.

what? Balil is ed

Whoops sorry, you're way right. I even edited The Black Dog discog a long time ago to reflect what you just said, and I still screwed the pooch here.

Atypic is Andy.

and on the Bytes album I'm sure I've read that Andy did the Plaid tracks alone.

I want this. But It'll be one of those purchases I make after 7 pints and half a dozen nips of single malt, but when I have a drink like that, going online and buying records is never on the agenda or at the forefront of my mind
