Warp have confirmed on Facebook that the venue is The Laundry in E8. They say doors at 8pm but the RSVP email says 8:30pm, playback at 9pm

I was somehow picked in the email lottery but the address in the email is some random house in a residential street in chiswick.

I didn't receive any mails with the venue mentioned, only confirmation that I've been added to the guestlist.

I think I'll be cutting it fine for getting there... my game plan:

 

- I'm getting the train into London to arrive about 6ish

- Haul ass across the city to check into my hotel

- 25min walk to the Laundry

 

I can't guarantee my timing and am completely at the mercy of the rush hour... But if you've got a pub in mind nearby to the Laundry, I could aim for that? Drop me a PM with details.

I'm training it up from Southampton myself after finishing work at 4, but then I don't have a hotel booked as will travel back that night by train. I'll send you a PM later. Regardless of whether you have time to meet for pint, it would be nice to meet some fellow WATMMERS at the event.

There's a brewery just in front of the venue and broadway market is very near and has lots of cafés and pubs.

I'm gonna take a little notepad and make some notes as it plays, will type out my findings here. Heard good things about London Fields Brewery over the road from the venue, apparently very good beer served in three 1/3rds on a plank
