The band I used to play with used to crank through this song as we warmed up before almost every practice... this was like only a few years ago, and we were a death metal band lol.

Sadly, I could play that early to mid 90's alt rock shit all day. Sentimental times, bro.

Hah, I actually kind of like that song. That guitar tone kind of mystifies me, a lot of "post-grunge" bands in the mid-90s used it.

EDIT: OPN wrote about it in detail!

Do you still have the link for the 0PN article?

Thanks.

OH shit! Hotlink fuck-up. It's an AV Club article, part of their "Hatesong" series, and one of the best entries imo.

One of the songs I listened to when i was 15 that made me want to get into "techno."

Honestly still have a soft spot for this song, it's definitely a lot less angsty than their other stuff and it's cool that they tried to do something different

haha, love those cheesy early 2000's nu-metal dj scratches

lol. this was used in an episode of the sopranos (or something), I immediately liked it and tracked it down, cue large amount of embarrasment. still a good track though.

I bought Meteora back in the day. Don't regret it. Decent digipak too, I really dug "Faint" and it sounded cool in my 96' VW jetta. Oh high school. In retrospect this was a jumping point for me to Prodigy and Chemical Brothers, and my electronic music exploration just snowballed from there.

Actually combine the best songs from the two first albums and you have a decent comp. Also, this is dated and an oddity tbh (lot of well-regarded turntablists on it), but not bad:
