It was crawling on the living room floor. It looks like a black centipede, but it only has 6 legs. It has pinchers, antennae, and butt antennae. Will post a picture soon.

Really not sure where I should be posting this - it falls under many a sub-forum, yet at the core is just asking about accommodations.... anywho- Myself and hopefully a few other fellow Irish are heading over to Bloc festival in July http://www.blocweekend.com/lineup/ However, I some what jumped the gun and booked a ticket without sorting accommodation - the website has loads of suggested hotels listed, but only 1 hostel Can anyone recommend any cheap cheap accommodation around the Bloc festival area? The hostel suggested seems to be asking for 52 yo yos for 2 nights. Is this probably the best i'll do, or is there hope yet?

So my question today is how far have we come as a species? I pose this question due to my experience last night. I went with a friend to get burritos last night about 9pm and as I was sitting at an empty restaurant waiting while my friend went out for a smoke. I was peering outside at all the bright lights and sparks coming from the fireworks when a tray of food was placed in front of me. I turned around and noticed it was not my order nor did I know the gentleman placing the food in front of me. Next he came back with his drink and utensils and placed them right in front of me. My friend was back by this time and I looked at him like who that hell is this guy and what th…

http://www.bbc.com/news/technology-18709232 Many of you will know that I use Apple products and think that some of their stuff is of very good quality, providing me with the best economic return (please note this does not mean other companies don't produce quality goods). I have not however been in favour of how Apple has conducted itself with regards to its last few years of overt litigiousness, especially in matters as frivolous as design patents. So I view this ruling as a very good thing.

Overwhelmingly rejected. This is awesome news. Without the EU support, ACTA is dead as a piece of global legislation. Gotta love the industry's response: Running scared.

Hi! Me and some collegues have done a videogame called Nihilumbra and since I know a lot of watmmers here play videogames I thought it might be interesting to share. We started an indie company called Beautifun Games one year ago, and it's our first game, I am one of the programmers. If you like it it has been released today at the apple store. The game is about Born who was created from the void and is perpetually escaping from it. You start inside the complete darkness and each world you get a new color that you can use to solve the puzzles. Here's the trailer: Also, we participated in a contest called Three-headed monkey awards and I want to thank ev…

http://www.edp24.co.uk/news/alan_partridge_returns_with_north_norfolk_in_his_sights_1_710328 The film is moving slowly according to Armando Ianucci, but it's definitely in the works. And not a story about Alan trying to break America, thank God. But while we wait for that Alan's sold-out and has produced 12 11-minute shows for Fosters (or something). Featuring Tim Key, the poet from Screenwipe. There's a trailer on YouTube, but I'm at work so you'll have to find that yourself.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52JWnleaojE&feature=youtu.be http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuouL4WnM9A First video features a conflict between Elmo and a guy in a polka dot outfit. Second video features a conflict between Elmo and a new yorker who makes fun of his knee pads. Third video features a conflict between Elmo and Shrek. Overall I found these videos to be both hilarious and odd.
