LOL

So posting an mp3 of a radio recording is infringing on what rights? I wouldn't be surprised if making a real case out of it would lead to some conclusion opposite to what they claim.

Agreed...

Hey at one point I found an album recording of dark steering (the quality was album quality for sure, and it did NOT have the radio announcer etc) on vimeo.

For a while it was up there and now it got replaced with the radio version =S

But the radio version is still up.

was it good? Kind of hard to tell if the detail will sound good when i hear it in album quality, but I can hope so. I've also seen a couple torrents for the full album, but they are probably fake.

Yeah it was pretty good, lots of bass. I think perhaps someone from the radio posted it, probably it was sent to them to demo or something? I don't know, but it was good!

I think the torrents are fake. I would personally wait until I get the CD anyway. I don't download albums illegally. =(

Well, I also found the torrent, downloaded it, and it was just a mash of random tracks from AFX, Steinvord, and some other shit. Avoid!!

Shame really

San Francisco tonight?

Anybody? :cat:

I just got home from it and it was a great experience! The new tracks sound manic and DSP'd to all hell but were still dance floor ready; though you wouldn't have known it from the crowd for the most part (maybe they were tired from the full day of previous acts, or they were saving their energy for the Yeah Yeah Yeah's).

In spite of the full-blown awesomeness I still felt that I was missing some of the genuine 'Pusher experience considering he was entirely bassless. I got over it pretty fast though.

I noticed one of the tracks he played had a very similar break beat and acid line to this AFX track; perhaps a cover or homage of sorts...

Can't find live footage of the track I'm referring to though.

This Squarepusher cat is a huge prank, right? Skrillex is fucking John Lennon by comparison. #creators

It begins!

Figured I owed this to my fellow WATMMers.

Full set from his SF show last night, 58 minutes of all new material so it should be Ufabulum in its entirety. Absolutely incredible show.

can someone explain to me why that tune at 11 minutes sounds so damn familiar to me? (and not because they were in the youtubes as well..)

has he played it in previous sets?

(I saw him back in 2009, I think I might have heard it back then)

Maybe because i posted a vid of the track last year. He never played the track in 2009 that is for sure.
