Hell yeah! Great to have it in high quality. As I suspected, there was much missing dynamically from the radio rip... To me this song definitely signals a return to form for him. I hope he keeps up this momentum.

What do you think of the track?

i love this track. it sounded great live! the video is a little boring, but it's a nice exhibit of his setup and makes a great alternative to smartphone footage of his shows.

undoubtedly the best, and the most excited I've been about him, since Ultravisitor.

Same, I'm glad he's waited until this album to tour the US in full. I cannot wait to hear the rest of the album.

I woke up whit this nice surprise in my inbox. At first I thought that it was a "sell out", Tom trying to be actual, like Madonna, then, I hear all the track and I think that is in the style of the most awesome Squarepusher, with better production.

Im really waiting for the full album.

Tom has fucking control over every single thing in that piece. It's almost like classical music.

Fockin' Ace!!

Yeah, he's well beyond most producers/musicians. This is precisely why you can't hate on the guy, despite what direction he takes. Dark Steering isn't even my favorite track, and it's fockin' glorious. :emotawesomepm9:

Guest teetime
"For a while I had apocalyptic nightmares about trails of nuclear missiles in the night sky. So I aimed to recreate that strange combination of exhilaration, terror and sadness both visually and emotionally through this piece. It lead to the idea of a spacecraft leaving earth at vast speed to escape, but oddly the music also made me think of it flying through a library. So I generated the visual aspect such that, as the piece progresses, it seems as if the viewer is ever accelerating through massive corridors of books."
