I have spent a lot of hours listening to his music. I made a playlist yesterday and he's released at least 7 hours of music...that is awesome.

Just listened to this track for the first time today and when the beat drops out at 0:54 and he lifts the hipass filter it was one of those clouds parting, light shining down moments, and i was like, how is he going to bring this together and then the beat abruptly thumps back into existing with a skittering autechrish hihat. fucking marvelous stuff. I love this man.

I think the first thing I heard from huerco s. was Prinzif from colonial patterns, it was posted before the album was released and it sounded so weirdly mysterious and spooky and I was v intrigued. v cool. v good.

Big fan of this dude, Verdigris Reader is what hooked me in, lush af.  The new Loidis and Pendant releases are really good too.

I sometimes stand in front of a mirror for hours practicing my enunciation of "Huerco"

One of my favorite artists.  I love in particular the way he does eps, they are often have a distinct mood throughout, like self contained mini albums.  Aphelias theme, No Jack,  Railroad blues, Opal tapes' untitled, A Verdigris Reader, Regalier (esp the reissue tracklist), Loidis.  Theres not a bad one in the bunch, all are essential.

He also runs West Mineral label which has put out 3 great releases. https://westmineral.ltd/

Don't know what it is about him, never heard a track I didn't like and I keep decent track of his stuff, but still something's keeping me from really getting ravingly enthusiastic about the dude. What I will say though is that sometimes his music seems to be exactly what I need.

Been on binge listen of his music (all aliases) lately.

Found an unreleased track that i somehow missed, apparently it was a soundcloud upload a bit before For Those of You came out.  It sounds very much like gas/volfgang voigt, which is maybe why it didnt make it on that album (also the 15m runtime).  But its some really delicious textures to get lost in.

Also I would be remiss not to shout out (again) his 24 hours from culture mix. Almost 1hr of amazing and mostly unreleased ambient.  I listen to like an album as such.

I'm not big into techno, but after I heard "Angel (Phase)" and a couple other tracks from Colonial Patterns, as a guy who is mainly interested in noise music/industrial noise, this fella has kept my attention, despite passing over his more straightforward techno stuff.  He's good at sound design.  https://open.spotify.com/album/0aZF30TPBFQq2cc5KCUz37

this guy is crazy good. there is something so unique about his style. i imagine it is really easy to make boring ambient, yet his work always has this hazy, hypnotic feeling.
