I posted this in YLC, but I thought it might be better suited here. Here is an album I produced for the video game "Shadows" which is still under development. http://notonemusic.bandcamp.com/album/shadows-original-sound-track If you like, comment and download!

Holy fuck. Love this band. One of the best debuts around. I always have a few tunes like Epitaph and Red floating in my playlists but these guys (all 18 or 20 or whatever of em) got this shit settled. Plus Fripps' solo on St Elmos Fire is magnificent. Just a glorious band and we haven't had a thread in ages.

That new radiohead album like 1 2
by Guest inteeliguntdesign- 39 replies

I came across a interesting discussion on BBC 6Music claiming the band's new album was impenetrable--meaning shit? I stopped listening to Radiohead a few albums after KID A, as you can only listen to a man whale on for so long. But they're one of the few globally popular bands who give a shit about music, it seems. So I dunno, the wannabe fucking hipster in me is thinking IMPENETRABLE--THAT SOUNDS DELIGHTFUL! So, WATMM, your king of poor album titles thoughts PLEASE!

Sick shit with wobbly bass and glass shattering breaks. Chill melodic stuff that could be played at a lounge. Killer shit-your-pants breakcore with mindblowing edits. Let's get some lists going. Bonus points for use of the mp3 player. Honorable mention for Youtube links. Calyx - Illusions Amon Tobin - Chomp Samba Photek - Axiom Squarepusher - Square Rave

Note: This does not actually exist. Its from the dream festivals blog. If there was to be a watmm festival, who would you have perform, where would it be, what additions to the festival would make it unique?

So i have heard their music, not a fanatic but i was offered a free ticket (saves me like $60). I didn't give two shits about the band or show as i thought the band was borked up and i was too poor to buy a ticket. I hope it is good.

booming kick drums
by Guest Hanratty- 21 replies

ok guys, put on your thinking caps. I have been enjoying two techno tracks: Shed - "That Beats Everything" and Sandwell District - "Hunting Lodge" and I think Ancient Methods have a track like this. Both have big booming kick drums and are sorta minimal in every other aspect. Can you think of techno that features a big kick drum that has a lot of impact? What I mean is that the kick should be kind of dramatic. Maybe that means reverb on the kick. Maybe it means thoughtful pauses to break up the kick onslaught. I like the idea of a monotonous kick drum being able to hold your attention for awhile. Any ideas?
