Looking for something like plaid or clark

This thread is right up my alley, with Plaid and Clark being two of my favorites. Keep the recos coming, and thanks for the link to free Jake Mandell, Atop. Never heard of him before.

 

But Hecq? Really? I've heard 0000 and really see no similarity to Plaid or Clark. It's hardly melodic, much more Autechre to me.

Quondum Current is the only other release by Jake that I am not as fond of...

 

Love Songs For Machines, Placekick ep, Midwest ep. Lawnshower ep, his compilation tracks on the House of Distraction comp, Lily of the Valleys comp, and the Kid 606 and friends comp are all amazing!

Really nice thread, there were a few albums that i never heard.. though i wouldn't say that anything sounds as clark.. plaid perhaps on some levels but it's hard
