mcbpete Posted April 19, 2012 Share Posted April 19, 2012 Ah Teletext/Ceefax (and Oracle back in the day) with your Bamboozle, Mr Biffo's leftfield games reviews on Digitizer, Turner the worm, bizarre test pages (that as a kid I thought I'd hacked in to the service), pages that took ages to load and would inevitably then be displayed one page too far from the one you wanted, and when any hint of wind kicked up at our house all pages were reduced to this: (I'm sure this was one of the reasons I got into glitch stuff) Teletext - I salute you ! I would use these services a lot when I moved back to UK in '98, also when I was younger and go to visit relatives. They were my pre-internet internet.
