Guest WNS000 Posted May 19, 2016 Fuuuuck!!! I am guessing studio-precision edits/mixes of the live jams. I am so glad it is not a proper album but rather a special release for the fans. Loving the concept.

ScaldedBorneo 0 Posted May 19, 2016 This is actually really good news that this live stuff is being released as EPs rather than a new album. I knew we could trust Autechre. If an actual LP ever drops, it will be completely fresh.

mcbpete 124 Posted May 19, 2016 Waaaaiiiittt - How come it's £25/£35/£45 ?! (depending on format). That's *quite* a lot for a digital release !
Guest WNS000 Posted May 19, 2016 Yeah the prices are quite high for my taste. Also, elseq = edited live sequences?
petina 0 Posted May 19, 2016 i guess the price is explained by them technically being 5 different releases but geez 30 bucks for just the mp3s
Blir 23 Posted May 19, 2016 I hope they don't end up releasing this in physical format so I end up buying it twice. That would be a bit of a dick move.

Guest WNS000 Posted May 19, 2016 (edited) Each EP contains at least 45 mins of tunage OK, that seem as a good argument. However, are the tracks truly unique on each EP or are there just variations as with AE_LIVE stuff? I also really dislike different pricing for different formats (it's not just AE store thing though). I mean, it's just a matter of rendering settings in your DAW ffs. Or are we paying for the traffic while downloading larger files? Edited May 19, 2016 by Jev

KovalainenFanBoy 58 Posted May 19, 2016 (edited) it amounts to 8/11/14€ per hour music (if you get the bundle that is, whole thing is a bit over 4 hours long), I'd say it's a reasonable price Edited May 19, 2016 by ThatSpanishGuy
