Yeah or Nay? It seemed very anticlimactic, basically Apple playing catch up. Is there anything really great in El Capitan? I guess they ran out of cat names. http://gizmodo.com/everything-apple-tried-to-kill-today-at-wwdc-2015-1709786772

So I watched this thing on Vice about this high powered money slimeball guy This is not real news or that interesting other than the fact that sub pop and indie music gets thrown into this mix and the part where he calls himself the punk rock investor occupying wall street However what I found an interesting thing to point out for the WATMM eyes is this comment left by a one Mr Dubstep Classics HD with the D M ZED logo as his pic DubstepClassicsHD 6 months ago props to this dude for doing whatever the fuck he wanted. you can call him a criminal and disgusting but he's still lived a more exciting life than all of us combined. we should al…

I am sorry WATMM, this forum is full of wonderful pepl! As those without busy schedules or lives may have noticed, I've been posting strange anomalous postings lately... for the past 16 hours. My posts are often meticulous and well thought out in nature, as is in my nature. but this will be short and from heart and hearth. So I'll get right to the point of my being here.. Today I've been acting a bit off. Eating Disorders, binge eating causing disrupted serotonin and dopamine cycles... I can't really control these urges.. let me be the first to say that serotonin is a hell of a drug. No doubt it was caused by the the excessive eating though, as I've been sober since yes…

S.P.A.M We've all heard the word. 'Annoying' is word three in that sacred acronym. That which a person considers to be annoying is usually grounds for immediate dismissal by the attention gland. Words and signals that are difficult to interpret due to their incongruousness or otherwise obtuseness will usually result in a condition of mental fog in the reader, if this reader is already not predisposed to dismiss novel stimulus offhandedly. The definition of consciousness comes from the selective dismissal of what is determined irrelevant to the survival of an organism. This is why art and poetry are so special. They sort of add a flourish to the border between an in…

I'm sure most of the artists that were involved with that project are long gone. and I'm pretty sure the archives are gone from the internets. I was thinking of setting up a bandcamp of all the EPs of v3. I don't remember who the dude was that set this up in the past. Step forth if you're still here. Would you mind if I did that? A lot of the stuff is pretty good and would be a shame to not be heard again. P168v3 is from early 2006.

I have little knowledge of laptops, what's a half-good one that costs around 200 quid which I could find in London? It'll mainly be used for listening to music and watching old horror films.

soo im trying to get the best sound from my car audio. i have a set up that sounds great with cd's, but when i use my ipod through an aux cable on certain albums i get my back speakers clicking or vibrating. The quality of the downloads that i have are most likely to blame, but I cant identify the problem because each file seems to be a decent enough size data wise, anyone know what i can do?

I have a own small label and want to sell some stuff on boomkat. I know they are very selective in stuff they present but maybe somebody can give me some helpful tips how to get into the sale system. I will also try to contact them apart from this thread- and share my experiences with the other users as well here. Maybe this is something for all users with a own label- or some have made experiences with boomkat and would like to tell about it.

I think we've been somewhat fooled into thinking of technology and science as "one thing", and that this "one thing" approach enables an attitude of most technology is good, even though it's a "double edged sword". The double-edged sword analogy is really dumb I feel. It's a double edged sword yes, but it's a NEW sword. basically you're throwing NEW swords in the mix. More ways to get cut than existed before. When I read about AI, nanotechnology, biotechnology and even virtual reality, I can't help but wonder how incredibly dangerous all of these things are. VR is ripe for abuse. You can drug someone, deprive them of sleep, and run them through many scary scenarios th…

Other than the usual array of causes for consuming this substance, does anyone have any direct/indirect experience of cannabis focused muscle relaxant/pain relief medication, spray based or otherwise? I ask cos of legal changes/events in the US in recent years and the range of medicinal products designed specifically for the above now available in other parts of the world. Due to some bizarre twist of fate and a legal loophole it means that i might be able to access a drug called Sativex. The circumstances behind why i'd benefit from it are too lengthy to go into here, but getting off opiates is the crux of it & this name/drug Sativex cropped up in a chronic p…

UK people tend to talk trash about American media and culture but I find the rampant worship of Prince Harry on BBC a bit unsettling. It's a bit creepy actually "Oh, Prince Harry is here in Zimbabwe dancing, it took him only 20 minutes of practice and now he's already doing it!" -Wow, that's impressive, it's absolutely wonderful to see him doing such great things *smile* "Let's look at Prince Harry here disembarking from an airplane to go see the Chelsea Flower Garden, back to you Jack!" -Yes it was just astounding to see him wandering around enjoying the garden, it was a great moment "Indeed it was Jack I really enjoyed seeing him" What is with this?
