http://wreckandreference.bandcamp.com/ Pretty nice for any metal/post-metal fans out there. The whole rhythm to the album is a neatly composed flux yet remains gritty and impaling. Physical release will be available somewhere soon.

"Mr. Hütter said a new Kraftwerk album was under way. “We didn’t fall asleep,” he said. “The 168-hour week is still going on since the beginning, since 1970.” And when can listeners expect the new album? “Soon,” he said." http://thequietus.co...bum-ralf-hutter http://www.nytimes.c...-kraftwerk.html

"Finally the 2nd full length of one of the most talented ambient artists of today. "It's rare that I'm able to give an album my fullest recommendation without trepidation. Bersarin Quartett is one such album. There's nary a misstep, every potential danger has been avoided and smoothed out to present the optimal audio experience for your dollar. Something this good can't possibly be real." The Silent Ballet (8.5/ 10) Almost all reviews concerning Bersarin Quartett's self titled debut album chorused this paean. Four years later he's back with his long awaited 2nd album called "II". After turning Bersarin Quartett with 2 befriended guest musicians into a band project in 20…

"Dazed is the second companion EP (following last year’s Tweek) to Senking’s celebrated 2010 album Pong, and like all his work in the past decade comes courtesy of Germany’s Raster-Noton label. According to R-N, the work “continues [senking] exploration of the abysses of sound”, and the A-side track ‘The Dance Hall Walk’ features the voice of Michael Cramm. We’re told that Dazed is “not only concerned with the depths of sound, but also with the depths of the human psyche, where there is no escape other than music itself.” "Senking is the solo project of Swedish artist Jens Messel. His 2007 album List was ranked among FACT’s 100 best albums of the 2000s." http://…

Keith Kenniff (a.k.a. Helios, Guldmund) writes this about an upcoming release under his own name: "The score I composed to "The Last Survivor" will be made available under my own name, Keith Kenniff, on October 19th on the label Circle Into Square. It will be released on cd and digitally via all your favorite download avenues."

"A Pennsylvanian by birth, Keith Kenniff is best known as the brains behind dulcet ambient / electronic practitioners Helios, and the fingers on the ivories of post-classical piano minimalists Goldmund (whose music was once described by Ryuichi Sakamoto as “so, so, so beautiful”). Keith’s music has been used on the soundtrack to Harmony Korine’s 2007 comedy-drama ‘Mister Lonely’ and on the trailer for the 2009 Academy Award-nominated ‘Revolutionary Road’, directed by Sam Mendes. ‘Branches’ sounds like a journey that ebbs and flows through a wondrous forest, accelerating and slowing up to reveal beauty in all its little nooks and crannies. The album is a haunting and beaut…

[quote ]Easily one of the most memorable and unique performances of 2011, Shabazz Palaces‘ studio session at KEXP last summer was a mind-blowing experience, one that could redefine your entire understanding or appreciation of music itself, so it’s only fitting that it’s KEXP’s first offering among the many amazing exclusives offered on Record Store Day. On April 21, Sub Pop and KEXP present the entire studio session by the Seattle space rap duo on beautiful 12″ purple vinyl, limited to just 2,000 copies. Shabazz Palaces: Live at KEXP EP: 1. bop hard 2. An echo from the hosts that profess infinitum 3. a mess, the booth that soaks in palacian musk 4. free press and cu…

"One could hardly not see in Don Preston a key musician within Frank Zappa's oeuvre. He is not only that, but his presence has marked The Mothers' major records from 1966 to 1974. His touch was already there before the arrival of Ian Underwood, and it continued after Ian left. You all remember King Kong (its magnificence as interpreted by Dom DeWild) from the second Uncle Meat suite. A certain form of jubilation emanates from this track, thanks to Preston's fluid style and lightly astringent tone on the Moog synthesizer - that instrument never sounded quite like that before or after. This might have to do with his double training, his twin interests, since he had been sim…

Dreams - Flyte EP

Anyone who's listened to Rustie's recent Essential Mix can't help but have noticed the absolute banging opener of a tune titled 'Bloodsport', which comes as part of a 7 track EP by Dreams, released last month. I have to admit that this guy was completely off my radar until Rustie brought him to my attention, but that one track just slays it every time. The rest of the EP is quite funky and not exactly along the same lines as Bloodsport, but nice enough. You can find it on bandcamp for a few bucks. Great video too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERin_FwEEoU

http://www.amazon.co...34947357&sr=1-1 http://www.junodownl...ars/1937965-02/ Five albums nicely remastered at a bargain price. They`re all great but it`s worth it just for Epsilon In Malaysian Pale[a brilliant companion album to Rubycon]and Aqua.
