Just got his newsletter with the following info... Sounds pretty awesome, but $145 is way too much for me... wish he would just sell all this stuff seperately so I could grab a few. Still, good news that all this is being released!

http://ninjatune.net...-after-midnight Apparently it's some homage to 80s/90s NY late night public access programming or something. Looking forward to it as I love me some Blockhead and all his albums to date have delivered the goods.

"Ascetic Ideals is the second Suum Cuique outing, following 2010′s excellent Midden, and like its predecessor it’s a caustic, exploratory and uncompromising suite of noise and avant-electronics, made using exclusively analogue hardware. The identity of Suum Cuique was originally a secret, but soon after the release of Midden it emerged that the man responsible was Whittaker, best known as one half of Demdike Stare. Ascetic Ideals was apparently recorded in between sessions for Demdike’s Elemental. "The album is due out on vinyl on May 28 in an edition of 700 copies, via Modern Love’s Young Americans imprint [through which they've also issued Daphne Oram's Oramics an…

Gothic Cholo - Plastic Tears Part 1 Architects + Heroes Records is proud to announce the debut release of Bizzart’s alter-ego Gothic Cholo titled Plastic Tears Part 1. Tracks are produced by Suttikeere and cover art is done by Ayla Eichler. We are accepting pre-orders and CDs will be shipped out when available (approximately 2 weeks time). Part 2 will be released when the CDs are made available. Bizzart has been pretty active in the Los Angeles Underground Experimental Hip Hop scene for the past 15 or so years.

"The enormous 12CD box set of Pauline Oliveros's early electronic work will be released by Important Records next month. Reverberations: Tape & Electronic Music compiles mostly unreleased material from the period 1961–1970, and includes her first piece made for tape in 1961." Addison Groove (aka Antony Williams) started life under a different pseudonym altogether. Recording as Headhunter, with an LP and 12” releases on the influential Tempa label stretching back to 2007, he achieved legendary status within the dubstep scene. His work at the deeper end of the spectrum graced the label an impressive 7 times, a figure matched only by Skream. This work looked set to continue until 2010 when, seemingly out of nowhere, he crafted one of the biggest bass music tracks of the decade, ‘Footcrab’, under the new name of Addison Groove. The response to ‘Footcrab’ was phenomenal, receiving critical and commercial success in equal measure across the dance m…

http://soundcloud.com/stholdings/bass-clef-reeling-skullways Great new album from this Bristolian. Hardly any dubstep here anymore, plenty of deep housey grooves, acid and deep basslines. Stand-out track after first listen is "stenaline metranil solar flare" (Yes, some awesome track titles) which builds and builds synths and snares in an almost autechre-like fashion. This album is as far from dubstep as you can get really, whilst still being produced by a guy from Bristol who used to make dubstep. Of course there are snares with delay in a traditional dub-fashion, but its all tastefully done and absolutely fine by me - none of this wobble shizness. Lovely stuff

Listen on Soundcloud.com The original idea of this project was to allow musicians from different scenes (but who shared common ideas) to work together. In this case, a development of two pre existent duos. Quite often musicians from different sonic languages can be seen being put together, trying to push the artists to develop unexpected works. Vainio, Drumm, Dörner and Capece have mainly strong points in common, that have been executed in different contexts. The music map is generally divided into categories that are determined by it's most evident and often banal elements; if it has beats or not, if it is quiet or loud, if it has raw material or a carefully wor…
