inb4: sorry if my english grammar is shit but english isn't my native language :P yo I was struggling with which way I should go to become a professional dude. Since I was a child, I always wanted to be a neurosurgeon, but it takes a long long time and I'm impatient as fuck (though I still read articles about neuroscience and stuff like that)... then I wanted to be a writer! at school people often talks nicely about the way I write and ideas, etc... I must admit I'm indeed quite talented writing stuff and stories, anyway. But, also, I'm obsessed with music, hearing and creating it. Lately I've been pretty uninspired but I know I can create good stuff... so yeah... Wel…

Ok fellas. November is drawing near and it is time to start thinking about being a man for a month. I realized the power of a stache last year. I felt more alive and more virile than ever before. Women stopped in their tracks at the super market. men nodded in approval. It is a real thing and you owe it to yourself to try it. It is for a good cause. So you give yourself a clean shave on the night of October 31st and you grow a mustache until December 1. Along the way, you send links to family and friends and post images of your progress. They donate cash and it all goes to cancer. pretty simple. Last year, watmm raised $312. I really would like to top that this y…

not looking for pity here, but one of my absolute best bros in the world is in a choking induced coma, and might be brain dead as a result, going on over 72 hours with no sign of function. i've known this guy since we were 13-14 and consider him family. this is happening in Florida, while i'm in Texas, so it's pretty bizarre and almost unreal. this guy in only 35, has one son and a baby momma (whom we can't stand) and really never did anything with himself. we partied thru high school and after, most of the 90s and then some. the point is, i'm having a hard time coping with this, and smoking a lot of bud to numb the pain. we're not even sure he's going to di…

Dear friends, I'm in London for another week after doing Bangface and my place to stay fell through. If anyone can put me up for even part of the time, I'm ready to buy pints. We can swap or I can tell Bangface stories. It'd be great to meet some of you while I'm in your country. Cheers!

Saw this over the weekend. I cannot emphasise enough how good this film is. I'll try and enumerate some of the ways... I'm keeping this as spoiler free as I can... 1/ Dredd is played particularly well, with Karl Urban delivering a more than decent performance as Ol' Stony face. 2/ Anderson is in the film! Not as vampy as some of the almost-porno realisations in old issues of 2000 AD, Olivia Thirlby plays the character as a much more believable rendering of the original. Her psi ability is visualised well, and its not over-used. 3/ The visuals are pretty amazing. They've rendered the world on a budget, but kept the feeling of the vertiginous blocks from MC-1. S…

(reddit.com/r/justiceporn if you don't know what i'm talking about) I think i'm a justice porn addict.. Why is it so addictive to watch and read about short sighted immoral goons absolutely eating shit? Does everyone have the capacity to enjoy this stuff?

THE sky was "black as pitch" and flames leapt above the nearby sandhills as Ashley Severin stood atop his grader at Curtin Springs station and yelled. Alice Springs filmmaker Chris Tangey spun round, his camera already cocked and rolling in an incredible moment of good fortune, to capture four dust devils dancing, one with a gullet full of flame. In a show lasting some 40 minutes, Tangey says, the largest uprooted mulga trees and hurled them skywards, a "proper tornado", while the most spectacular swallowed a bushfire, sending an arc of twisting orange up toward the heavens. "It was like a dance of giants, really," Tangey says. "There was a red one, a black one, a white…

List three people for the person below you to decide who of them they'd shag, who they'd marry, and who they'd kill, but answer the person above you first. Jacques Derrida, Rrose Selavy, Graham Chapman.

Like most of you, I tend to check the same sites on a daily basis, so I tend to stick to blogs and commercial sites that respect the web user, at least somewhat. So it's jarring, when I see friends or co-workers hit sites that are flagrantly pushing so many types of ads at once to your eye balls, that you can barely read the text you went there to read in the first place. It's like there are sites for people who know what they are looking for, and the rest are for idiots, besides file sharing and porn. Cnet is the first I can think of off the dome. What sites do you have to use for some reason that piss you off bc of all the shit you have to hide or close just to…

hello, i'm looking for a film from ca. 1996 in which a rich woman has a sort of paranoia about having some disease, locking herself in in her suburbia house, it's probably a parable about HIV, or something. can't remember the title. but I believe it's a 4 to 6 letter word starting with 'D'. kthx!

Not sure if this has been done before, but it can be proper lol and fun. The aim of the game is to write a story with each post only 3 words long. You can jump in and jump out as you feel the need too. The story we write as we go along can take twists and turns into fantasy, horror, gonzo, romance, general fucking weirdness, whatever. If done well it can be brilliant once it gathers momentum. If it fails? We only have ourselves to blame, so lets go!! I will start and will let you lot gather pace. A huge roar....

Anyone know any sites to purchase some cool art from? Nothing insanely expensive, just some prints that I could hang up on my wall.

Given the amount of conspiricy theorist on here, i find the lack of a Hillsborough thread in here suprising. Biggest confirmed conspiricy in the UK in modern times and not a word, even if it is only UK relevant. J96.

Hey all watmmites, my isuzu rodeo finally broke down after 10 years drivin, and have been gettin around by moped (which is really fun btw!) and the time has now come for getting a car. I just got back from driving this beast VolvoS60 which is going for $7,900 at 44k miles, no accidents. It seems like a good buy (because it normally goes for double the price listed), but the dealer told me it was under a rebuilt salvage title, meaning that it was refurbished after being auctioned off from insurance companies and is road operable. I was wondering if anyone has bought a used car under a rebuilt salvage title and how well it ran/cost of repairs post-purchase. Or…
